Chapter 8-Us time

Lizas pov
I woke up to the sun shining through the window onto mine and David's bodies. We both weren't wearing anything and had the white comforter wrapped around us, one of the perks of not having the kids around. I picked up my phone and went onto my photos scrolling through the millions of pictures I have if mason and Isabella. I do miss them a lot but I am really enjoying mine and David's 'Us time'.
David began to wake up and rolled over to face me "morning beautiful" he said to me in his deep morning voice "morning" I replied. For some reason his new favorite thing is calling me beautiful but I'm not complaining because I absolutely love it when he does. "Breakfast and then the pool?" He asked "you guessed it" i replied as we got out out of bed.
David made breakfast of pancakes which I'm super great full for every time considering six years ago David would never ever cook. He placed a stack of three pancakes in front of me and also handed me the syrup "thank you" I said to him we ate before dumping our plates on the counter and then changing into swim clothes all David had to do was put swim trunks on and his shirt so he did and then went into the pool whilst I changed into a crochet white swimsuit that showed the right amount of cleavage and booty to make david go crazy. I grabbed my sunglasses and some towels before heading downstairs. I opened the glass door to show David swimming around shirtless. I got in and swam to him "no shirt?" I asked knowing it's one of his biggest insecurities but also admiring the exposed skin that I love seeing so much. "Nope, I've decided to stop being stupid because nobody is seeing me except you and you've seen it all before" he explained "well I love it" i said putting my arms on his shoulder. He moved his hands and put them under my thighs. I lifted up my legs and wrapped them around his waist as we pressed our lips together. It felt so perfect and in the moment our lips were moving perfectly in sync and David swiped his tongue across my bottom lip asking for entrance which I gladly gave him. We just stood in the middle of the pool, in Hawaii making out but it felt so perfect and so meant to be. We broke apart after a while and stared into each other's eyes before resting our foreheads on each other's. "That was-"  i began "perfect" he replied finishing my sentence. I smiled at him and kissing him again. "I know something fun to do" David said smirking. Instead of what I though he was going to do, he threw me high into the air so I landed in the pool soaking my hair. "David!" I said as I returned to the surface spitting out a load of water "liza!" He copied. I rolled my eyes and swam back to him "guess who's getting no more kisses" I said to him pouting. He looked at me sadly "I'm just kidding I could never say no to that face" I said to him pressing our lips together again.
After probably around an hour of what was supposed to be swimming but ended up being a make out session, we went back inside and showered. I was changing when David walked over to me wrapping his arms around my body making me jump a little since I didn't see him. "Sorry baby I can't resist you shouldn't be allowed to be that sexy" he said to me. I rolled my eyes at him and grabbed my clothes from the bed pulling them on "one day I will make you realise how perfect you are liza" he said to me lifting up my chin. Instead of speaking I reached up and pressed my lips to his "I am so lucky to have you" I said to him as we broke apart "and I'm so lucky to have you" he replied. I put my arms around him and held him super close as he also wrapping his arms stronger around me. This guy really is my best friend.
