Chapter 11- home

David's pov
"Baby, you need to wake up" I told liza kissing her face repeatedly. She opened her eyes and sat up. "I'm so excited to see mace and Izzy" she said "me too" I replied. "Okay we have three hours before our flight, I think I packed all of our stuff so I need to check once more and then we have to go" I said to her. She nodded and got up dragging herself to the bathroom. She peed and as she was she shouted me into the bathroom "bubba you left this" she said holding up my aftershave "thanks baby" I said kissing her, grabbing the aftershave, putting a little on and then throwing it into my suitcase.

We were both soon dressed. We were both wearing hoodies since we were travelling. Everything was packed up and our Uber was waiting outside ready to go. "You ready baby?" I asked kissing her head as we walked to the Uber "im a little sad we have to leave but yeah because I want to see my babies so damn much" she said.
We got into the Uber and he dropped us at the airport. We took our bags into the airport and checked in before going through security. We got through with no problems thankfully which avoided liza having a panic attack. I took her hand in mine and we went to the Starbucks before sitting in our usual seats whilst we both edited our videos and then got ready to board our flight when the time came. We had been waiting in line for a while and I could tell how tired liza was. I pulled her into my chest and she rested her head closing her eyes. "I know what will make you happy" I said to her she nodded so I would keep talking "it's only six hours until we see our babies" I said making a smile instantly appear on her face. "See I knew that would make you happy" I said kissing the top of her head.
We soon boarded our flight and as soon as we took off liza fell asleep on my shoulder. I took a picture of her because she looked super cute and then I pulled out my laptop and began editing this weeks vlog again, it was just going to be clips of old vlogs that I wasn't allowed to put out or bits that were left out since me and liza have had a week to our selfs with no kids or cameras.

After the long six hours, we finally arrived at lax. Liza had woken up and was now texting her mom to tell her we were landing since she had brought the kids down to meet us.
We got off our plane and walked through the airport. Liza looked so unbelievably excited to see our babies and I was too since we haven't seen them in a whole week other then through FaceTime. We got to baggage claim and we waited for our bags to get there on the conveyor belt. We saw them and I grabbed them both handing Lizas to her "wow such a gentleman" she laughed. I smiled and nodded taking her hand as we walked through the airport ready to see our babies.
We walked through to where they were waiting and as soon as we saw them we ran over and both mason and Isabella jumped into our arms. Mason jumped onto me and was super excited immediately telling me what fun stuff he had done and Isabella jumped into Lizas arms and was crying. "Baby why are you crying?" Liza asked kissing Izzy's head she just cried even more burying her head into Lizas shoulder. "Hey mom" Liza said walking to her mom and hugging her with Izzy still attached to her hip. "Hey darling did you have a good honeymoon?" She asked "It was beyond amazing thank you so much for watching the kids" she replied. We grabbed our bags and then went out to the car. Izzy was still attached to liza and it was pretty difficult to get Izzy off liza when we were putting her in the car.

We soon arrived home and Lizas mom left to give us some time as us four again. As soon as we had gotten out of the car Izzy wouldn't let go of liza again and now Izzy is following liza around as if she's a lost puppy.
We ordered takeout and waited for it to arrive whilst watching a movie on Netflix on the tv. Mason was sat next to me and we were both cracking jokes together at the movie. Even though he's only six, you can definitely tell that he's mine and Liza's kid because at every moment he can, he will make a joke or pun about everything in sight which is pretty smart. As me and mace were joking around Liza was laying on the sofa and Izzy was asleep on her chest. Izzy's cheeks were still a little red from crying earlier and she had her arms over Liza and her finger tangled in Lizas hair since it comforted her a lot to play with her mommas hair.
Our food soon arrived and we sat and ate in the living room in front of the movie. Izzy was still sleeping on Liza while she ate like she did when she was a baby. "Izzy baby wake up" Liza said after a couple minutes of eating she opened her eyes and instantly wrapped her arms tight around liza again. "Your dinner is here" Liza said to her. She nodded and then sat right between me and liza as she ate.
Once we were done eating Izzy found her way onto my lap "I missed you too daddy" she said hugging me. "Good, I don't think we're going to leave for that long again in a long time" I said kissing her head she smiled and cuddled into my then pointing to mason and liza wanting them to join the hug. Liza scooped up mason making him laugh and then joined our hug.
Even though I loved spending alone time with liza for a week, this is my favorite place to be. With my three favorite people.
