Chapter 33- gender

Lizas pov
"We are so ready to see if you are a boy or a girl" David said to my bump pressing a kiss to it "I'm so excited" I said smiling super wide.
Our appointment was in an hour, the kids were playing and me and David were sitting on the sofa. "What do you think it is, they always say that mothers instinct is right" David asked me "I think girl because it feels the same as it did with Izzy" I said "I think girl too" he said "and the kids both want it to be a girl" I added " I just kind of get a girl vibe" David said kissing my bump again "don't worry we're still going to love you if you're a boy though" he said "david were going to have three kids, we're going to be outnumbered" I said, reality hitting me "if this baby is anything at all like mason and Izzy, we're going to be fine" he said. "That is true we have the best little babies" I said "indeed we do baby" he said kissing my cheek.

"Who's ready to find out the gender of their little sibling" David said to mason and Izzy as we drive to the hospital "me!" They both said together. "Last bets guys what are you thinking?" I asked them "girl" mason said " girl!" Izzy also said. "Well we're gonna see in half an hour" I said.

We finally arrived at the hospital after what felt like forever, we went in and I told the receptionist my name before she scratched it down and we went and sat in our usual spot, the kids playing with the bucket of toys in the corner and me and David sat in the seats with our hands linked together. "I'm so excited" I said to him "me too" he replied smiling the famous David Dobrik smile. "I love you" I said putting my hand on his jaw "I love you too baby" he replied. "Liza Koshy- Dobrik" the  nurse called I got up squeezing David's hand and Izzy and mace followed us through. "Hey guys, how are you" Emma asked  directing us to the seats. "We're super excited" I said "are you wanting to know the gender?" Emma asked "yeah" we said together "well I know this is a very exciting day and I hate to be a mood killer but I'm going to need a urine sample to start with just to make sure if the icp situation" Emma said, which did kill the mood a little but I'm still super excited to know if my baby is a boy or a girl.
Emma handed me a jar to pee into, I took it into the bathroom and returned a couple minutes later, handing it to Emma in a zip lock bag. "Okay now the fun part" Emma said signalling me to lay down. I lay down and rolled up my shirt "Liza this bump is looking great" Emma said as she squirted the gel onto my bump. She moved the probe around and after a couple seconds she found our baby and the loud relaxing thump of the baby's heartbeat filled the air. I squeezed David's and and smiled at him and he returned the same goofy smile to me. "Okay so you guys definitely want to know the gender?" Emma asked us, making sure. "Well congratulations, you having a girl!" She said excitedly "mace Izzy you hear that you're getting a baby sister" David said as his eyes were filled with tears "a girl!?" Mason asked excitedly again "yeah bud" I replied crying still "then I can protect her like I do with Izzy!" He said excitedly wrapping his arms around his sister who was also looking super happy. "Wow this is enough to being tears to my eyes" Emma said laughing and pretending to wipe away tears before throwing us a box of tissues. I took one and then handed them to David who needed about four because he'd been crying that much. "I'll go get you guys a picture printed off" Emma said leaving. "My girls" David said kissing my head and then my bump. "Hey you two come here" David said signalling mace and Izzy. They walked over and hopped onto his knee "that's your little baby sister, have you got anything to say to her because she can hear you" he said as he pulled his camera out "I do" mace said "I love you baby sister and I'm so excited to play with you because you're going to be the best and I love you" he said "what about you izzy?" I asked her "I love my baby sister" she said shyly. Emma soon returned with the pictures "mommy did you know I was a girl?" Izzy asked "yeah, Emma told us you were a girl just like this baby" I explained to her "when I was in your tummy?" She asked "yeah and she helped you come out of mommy's tummy" I explained "how?" She asked "she just did" I said hoping to move on so I didn't have to explain. "Okay so here's your pictures and congratulations guys I'm super happy for you" she said laughing at mine and Izzy's conversation "thanks" I replied taking them "you're free to go" she said, I hopped down pulling my shirt back over my bump which was getting quite big. "Thank you" I said to Emma "that's okay" she replied smiling, mason wrapped his arms around Emma's legs "thank you for keeping my mommy and my baby sister safe" he said to her "aw that's okay mason, you're such a amazing little boy" she said to him, he smiled and we walked out. "Mace that was so cute" I said to him "I like it when she keeps you and my baby sister safe" he said "me too" Izzy added "you two are the best and if your little sister is like you two she's going to be so perfect" David said to them, picking them both up.

We got home and crashed on the couch "mommy can we see the picture of our baby sister again?" Mason asked "of course buddy" I said pulling the picture out of my purse,I showed the pictures to them "what's that part?" I asked "well that's her head, that's her legs and those are her arms, look she looks like she's waving at you" I said pointing to the different parts. "I'm se excited to play with her" Izzy said "well she might not be able to play when she's little because she will only sleep and eat for about three months" I explained "what will she do after she's three months?" Mason asked "well she'll start lifting her head up then and after that she'll start to roll over after a couple more months and then she'll learn to sit up and then she'll learn to crawl and then finally walk and then she will be able to play with you when she's about one" I explained "that's ages!" Mason said "I know but she needs time to grow up before she can do all of the fun things" I explained "you still have to be her best friend, even when she can't do much" I told them "we will" they both replied. "I love you both, and I know that your little sister loves you too" I told them pulling David closer as well as opening my arms for my babies "love you mommy" mason said. Life couldn't get any more perfect.
