Chapter 28- Real

David's pov
I woke up to liza running to the bathroom, she's had pretty bad morning sickness the past few mornings, I dragged myself out of bed and followed her, holding her hair and rubbing circles on her back as she threw up "you've got it baby your okay" I told her. Once she was done, she sat back against the wall looking completely exhausted even though she'd only just woke up. I pushed a curl out of her face and gave her a look of sympathy, I opened my arms out and she crawled into my grip. "It's going to get better, I promise" I said to her "I am super happy it just hurts a lot" she replied "I know you're literally the strongest" I said to her. She smiled and snuggled back into me "I'm so excited for today" she said smiling still "I know we get to see baby koshy- Dobrik" I said "aww that's what we used to call mace" she replied "I know, what a throwback" I said considering that was over seven years ago.
"I'm good now" liza said standing up, still a little weak. "I'll go and wake up izzy and mace" I said kissing her head before i went through to the kids room "good morning you two" I said turning the light on, since Izzy has found her way into masons bed as usual. "Morning daddy" Izzy said wiggling out of masons grip and over to me. I picked her up and kissed her cheek, she wrapped her arms around my neck and rested her head on my shoulder. "Daddy?" She asked "yeah" i replied "is mommy sick again?" She asked "yeah she is a little" I said "why?" She asked "because when you have a baby in your tummy it makes you feel sick sometimes" I explained. She nodded and rested her head on my shoulder again. "Do you want to go see mommy?" I asked. She nodded and I carried her through to me and Lizas room whilst I let mace get a little extra sleep "mommy!" Izzy said as soon as she saw liza "morning baby" she said taking Izzy out of my arms. She kissed her cheek repeatedly. "Are you still sick?" She asked "no baby, I feel better now" she replied "guess what" Liza added "what mommy?" She replied "we get to see the baby today" Liza said "is it coming out?" Izzy asked "not yet but we get to see it inside mommy's tummy" she explained to izzy. Izzy smiled, she loves hearing about the baby so much, she's obsessed and it's adorable.

"Come on you two, hurry up we're going to be late" I called to mason and Izzy, they eventually got out of the house and then we got into the car.

When we arrived we got out of the car and into the building. "Liza Koshy-Dobrik, Sorry were a little late" liza said to the receptionist. The receptionist nodded and then we sat down, the kids went over the the bucket of toys in the corner and me and liza joined hands as we sat waiting. "Baby I'm nervous" Liza said to me "don't be, you're both going to be fine" I replied "what if Emma isn't our OB?" Liza asked, she's been so nervous for if Emma isn't her OB because she's used to her. "Baby she might not be, but it's okay because whoever it is, is going to take care of you both" I told her "but I feel like Emma just knows us" Liza said "well it has been three years, she might have forgotten by now" I said "I know but I'm just getting my hopes up" she said looking disappointed. "It's okay, whoever it's going to be we're going to be fine" I told her "Elizabeth Koshy-Dobrik" a nurse called. "Come on you two" I said to the kids, Izzy jumped into my arms and mason took my hand. Liza looked super nervous. "It's okay" I said to her as we walked into the room.

We waited a couple minutes for whoever our OB was, the kids were both messing around and I was trying to calm liza down because her anxiety was seriously high which I knew wasn't good for the baby or her. "Deep breaths baby it's okay" I said taking her hands in mine "hey guys" I heard a familiar voice say. Emma. I felt liza relax completely "it's been a while liza and David, and oh my goodness aren't you two looking so grown up" Emma said looking at Izzy and mason who has climbed up onto the bed. "Izzy guess what, Emma was there when you were in my tummy" Liza said to her "wow" Izzy said cutely "so, I know why you are here but obviously I have to ask the questions" she said "so when did you find out/ think you might be pregnant" Emma asked "ten days ago I got sick and was feeling super tired and had a lot of symptoms so I took a test and it came back positive, and then I took about nine more which also came back positive" liza explained. "And when did you last have your period?" She asked "about two months ago" I replied "okay, well first you're going to take a urine sample and if it comes back positive then we will have a look on an ultrasound" she said, leaving the room for a minute to get a sample jar. "I can't believe she remembers" I said happily "that has literally lifted so much of my anxiety that it's Emma" Liza said "good, see we're going to be okay" I told her "here you go" Emma said walking in handing liza the jar. Liza went to the bathroom and did her stuff before returning with the jar, Emma took a white strip and dipped it into Lizas pee, when she took it out it was bright pink. "High traces of HCG, congratulations guys, you're having a baby" Emma said smiling at us. "Let's have a look then" Emma said signalling to the bed and the ultra sound machine. Liza lay down and rolled up her shirt, to expose her still flat stomach. Emma dotted some of the gel into Lizas stomach and she ran the probe over it. The kids were both sitting on my knee and Lizas hand was laced in mine. We soon heard the loud thump of the heartbeat of the baby and they appeared on the screen. I felt my eyes fill with tears and I saw Lizas full with tears too. "There's you're baby you too, congrats again" Emma said "why are you crying?" Izzy asked turning round and wiping the tears from my cheeks "it's emotional Izzy, that's your little sibling" I told her "can you believe it mace, that's your sibling" Liza said to him "they're a blob baby" mason said laughing, we all laughed. "They're a beautiful blob baby" Emma said. We smiled and she printed off a couple of pictures handing them to us. "Thank you so much Emma" Liza said as we walked out "any day you two, this is so exciting" she said looking super happy. This is so exciting. Me, Liza, Mason, Izzy and our new baby.
