Chapter 47- bullies

Liza's pov
I looked down at Maddy nursing in my arms, it was really freaking hurting but I couldn't exactly stop so I just dealt with the pain. "Good morning" David said as he came in and kissed me head "morning" I replied with a little less enthusiasm "baby what's up?" He asked me "feeding her is really hurting, I'm just not really feeling that great" I explained "Aw baby, I'm sorry" he said pulling me into a hug. "You're a good mom" he said kissing me "thanks bubba, you're a good dad to and a husband and I love you" I said smiling "love you too" he said. "Morning" Izzy said walking in and climbing up on David so she was in his arms "morning baby" he said to her kissing her cheek "still tired?" He asked her, she nodded "why did you get up then?" I asked her stroking the bottom of her cute feet since it was all I could reach considering I was still sitting and feeding Maddy. "I got scared because I had a scary dream" she said "what about?" David asked her "I had to run from a monster but I couldn't run and it nearly eated me" she said, pronouncing ate wrong but it was so cute. "You're safe here baby, we've got you" David said to her hugging her tighter and kissing her head. I love how he is with Mace, Izzy and Maddy it's so cute he's the best dad in the world, just then mason also came in "Good morning little man" I said to him "morning" he replied "mommy do I have to go to school today?" He asked "yeah bud, why? You love school" I said to him, he shrugged. "Okay who wants breakfast?" David asked, both the kids followed him to the kitchen, he made them waffles and they ate together watching tv as they did I walked over to David who was cleaning up after making the waffles "babe I'm worried about him, he loves school" I said "maybe he just doesn't feel good" he replied shrugging. I tried to forget it but I really couldn't help but worry about my boy. "Okay you two get dressed" David said to mason and Izzy, they jumped down from their seats. Izzy ran off and mason followed "hey mace, come here" I said to him, he turned back and came over to me "why don't you want to go to school bud?" I asked him "I'm scared" he said starting to cry "baby" I said pulling him into a hug and kissing his head "why are you scared?" I asked him "because the boys call me things" he said "what boys?" I asked "the ones who are the biggest in the class and they call me words like, a mistake and ugly and gay and they hurt me sometimes and Noah tries to stop them but they hit him too" he said "mace, you have to tell me these things because I can help" I said to him "but he said if I tell anyone he will kill Izzy and you and Maddy" he said breaking down again. "What's going on?" David asked walking in with Maddy resting on his chest. "He's being bullied" I mouthed "its okay mace, it gets better we're gonna stop them" David said hugging mace. "Right come on then mr, lets get dressed and then we will sort this out" David said taking his hand, he went upstairs and took mace into his room before going into Maddy's room to change her, I followed and went into Maddy's room, where David was changing Maddy, as soon as he saw me he opened out his arms, I walked into his arms and put my arms around his waist. "Don't stress, he's going to be okay he's tough and we're going to stop this stupid kid" David said kissing my head "I'm so worried about him, why our mason?" I said "I don't know baby" he replied "maybe we should stop putting them on YouTube" I said starting to stress about the whole situation "Liza, just because of some asshole kid at school it doesn't mean YouTube is bad" he replied "David It's just I -" I stuttered, then breaking down, he pulled me into him again and kissed my head "please don't let this make your anxiety bad, we are going to sort this out I promise, he's going to be okay" David said to me, I nodded and dried my eyes "I'm sorry, I always cry every single day" I said laughing a little "it's okay, I love you" he said to me "I love you too Bubba" I said kissing him, Maddy started crying since she was half dressed and getting a little bored so whilst David finished dressing Maddy, I went to go and check on Izzy and mace. They were both ready and playing dolls together which was very cute "ready for school?" I asked them "yeah!" Izzy shouted, mace kinda stayed quiet but I just moved on "come on then my Prince and princess" I said to them "that means you're the queen and daddy is the king" Izzy said smiling "indeed it does" I said smiling.
We were soon all ready and we got into the Tesla, we drove the kids to school and dropped them off before going into the principals office to talk about masons situation. "Hello mr and Mrs Koshy-Dobrik" He said shaking our hands as we went in "how can I help you?" He asked "were a little worried about our son mason, he's said that recently he's been finding it hard to be happy in school because he's often being picked on" I said "right, I see that's not good, how can I help?" He asked "He said the boy who is going this to him is in third grade, a kid called brock" I said "what kind of things does mason say that brock has done?" The principal asked "he's called him names and hit him a few times" David replied, rocking Maddy in his arms since she was fussing. "Okay, i will be sure to get this sorted thank you for showing your concern" the principle said "thank you" we said getting up and shaking his hand again before walking out.
"See he's going to be fine" David said as we walked back to the tesla "I hope so" I replied. "Don't worry baby, he's a strong kid he'll brush it off" David said pulling me into him as we walked and kissing my head.
We got home and relaxed the rest of the day until it was time to pick up Izzy and mace from school again.
"How was school?" I asked Mason nervously. "Good" he replied "did everything go okay with the mean boy?" I asked, David gave me a look as if to say I was pushing it but I needed to know. "He got told off and then he said sorry to me and then we played together" masons said casually "that's good" I said completely shocked at his complete change of heart. "Told you he would be okay" David said to me, I rolled my eyes at him playfully and hit his shoulder. "I'm just glad we have our happy little boy back" I said to him "me too" David replied. Nobody better hurt my boy again because they then have to deal with us.
