Chapter 23- back to reality

David's pov
It's been a week since we got back from Hawaii, as soon as we landed reality hit us again considering I had over twenty emails about brands that wanted to partner with me and my managers were going crazy as well as Liza's at her. We both have meetings today and the kids have school which is always hard since Izzy still often gets nervous when we have to leave her. "Come on you two" I called to Izzy and mason they pulled on their shoes and ran to my side "let's go to the car where mommy is" I told them "mommy's bringing us to school too?" Mason asked excitedly "yeah bud because after, me and mommy have meetings all day" I replied.

We walked out to the car and they jumped in, i fastened their seatbelts and hopped in the front driving. "Izzy you're going to be at school until half ten today you know but daddy is going to pick you up so it will be no time at all" Liza said preparing Izzy for school. "Okay mommy" she replied. We pulled up to their school and we took mason first , waving him off and then took Izzy knowing it would take her a little longer. "Okay baby have fun" liza said picking her up and kissing her cheek I could see the worry growing in Izzy's eyes  "i love you have fun" I said hugging her super tight. "Do you have to go?" She mumbled into my shoulder "yeah baby, I'm sorry but you're going to have such a fun day, they're waiting for you" I said to her "be brave iz we love you lots" Liza said kissing her cheek once again. "Love you mommy and daddy" she said walking away bravely, yet tears still filling her eyes a little "bye we love you, be brave" I called to her.

We walked back to the Tesla and made our way to our meetings, I was dropping off liza first and then heading to mine "how brave was our baby" Liza said lacing her hands in mine as I drove "I know she's amazing" I said to her kissing her hand "baby I don't want to leave you at that meeting because last time i did that, you know what happened, that guy tried to.." I trailed off not wanting to say it. "I'll be fine Bubba, I promise I'll text you if anything at all happens" she replied "okay, you're amazing liza dont let anyone get the better of you" I said to her "I won't Bubba I promise" she replied "good" I replied pulling up just outside of where her meeting was. I kissed her and she kissed back "I love you baby have fun" I said to her "I love you too" she replied getting out.

I arrived at where my meeting was, I parked the Tesla and walked in, "David Dobrik meeting with seat geek" I spoke to the receptionist "fourth floor room 44" she replied not looking up from her computer "thanks" I said walking over to the elevator. I pressed the fourth floor button and went up, I walked into the meeting. My manager and the manager of seatgeek stood to shake my hand and the meeting began.

"Thank you for working with us mr Dobrik, this is going to be our best idea yet" the seat geek manager said smiling "any day, it's going to be great" I replied "thanks for doing business" my manager said shaking hands with the seatgeek manager. 'My meeting is done I'm going to pick up Izzy, love you' I texted liza. She replied in seconds with 'okay baby, I'll be done in an hour probably, love you".
I drove back to Izzy's school and picked her up. As soon as she saw me she Ran into  to my arms "daddy!" She said excitedly "Izzy, did you have a good day?" I asked her as she wrapped her arms round my neck and rested her head on my shoulders "how about we go get mommy?" I asked her "yeah!" She said excited. I carried her to the car and I strapped her in before getting in the front and turning on Disney songs as we sang along on the way. Just as we were practically screaming let it go, we pulled up outside Liza's meeting place. I texted her quickly and then we got back to singing, I soon got a reply that she was done and on her way down.

Liza got into the car, "Mommy!" Izzy said when she saw liza "hey baby, did you have a good day?" Liza asked "yeah i played with sand" she replied "well that's a lot more fun then meetings" I replied making Liza and Izzy laughed. We turned the music back on and then went back to the school to pick up mason.
This is back to reality, having to drive back and forwards over and over to pick up the kids or each other for meetings, even though I love the Tesla so much constantly driving back and forwards is painful.
We soon arrived at masons school, Liza and Izzy got out and collected mace whilst I stayed in the car. They returned with a super happy and excited mason since he loves school and seeing his friends. "Good day bud?" I asked him as he strapped himself in his car seat "yeah me and Noah played pirates in the playground and we did music and I got to play the drums" he said excitedly "that's super cool" I replied. We drove home putting on the Disney songs again and singing them all together.

We soon arrived home and as soon as we did the kids were hungry so I cooked dinner and we ate together.

After a couple of hours of the kids playing and doing homework, we put them in the bath and to bed, and me and Liza followed soon after, what a day of being back to reality.
