(A/N: This is the Dead By Daylight version of Freddy. If you don't know what Dead By Daylight is, I highly recommend you look into it! Also I'm putting memes in the chapters from now on.)
Another tiring, stressful day of being the entity's puppet. You had awoken at Haddonfield which used to make you sure that you up against the famous Michael Myers, but you realized that any killer could be on any map, with any survivors.
After being there for years, which in reality was probably just months, you learned a couple of things. Whenever you died, you always came back to life. The survivors looked frightening, but they were sweet. The killers usually showed no mercy, but sometimes they would mess around and let someone live.
You walked into a house and recognized it as the house with the basement with the generator is it. You walked down the steps, come creaking once you stepped on them. You walked over to the generator that was in the corner of the room and crouched next to it. You began to repair the generator, carful not to mess up, but also keeping an eye out for any of the silent killers such as the Pig, the Wraith, or Michael.
Once you finished the generator, you slowly walked up the stairs, wondering why you haven't heard the heartbeat or any sign of the killer yet. Usually you were the first one caught.
You walked around, trying to spot another generator. You walked into the middle of the street, secretly wanting to be chased. Doing gens wasn't really your thing if you were being honest. You heard a scream from what sounded like Laurie. She sounded close to you, maybe just on the other side of the fence, but you still didn't hear a heartbeat.
Then you heard it. The sound of children singing. You both loved and hated that sound. It was the creepiest sound in the world to you, but you knew that it was Freddy. Usually he would play around with you and show a little mercy. Unless he was having a bad day.
Suddenly you felt yourself becoming tired. Your head started to hang low as you struggled to keep your eyes open. Everything turned a darker color and then you heard his chuckle. You looked in front of you and saw him coming closer so you began to run. Sure, he might be nice at times, but his goal is still to murder you.
You ran until you reached Michael's house. You ran through the door and upstairs. You ran and entered the room towards the left. Much to your luck, there were no open windows in that room leaving you trapped.
You sighed as you turned around, already hearing Freddy laughing. You had never heard him laugh like that before. Usually his laugh was evil sounding and full of bad intentions, but this one was kind of cute. He sounded happy and for once not in pain.
His laughter must have been contagious because before you knew it, you joined in and laughed at your failure. So there you two stood, on the second story of Michael Myers house, laughing, actually enjoying each others presence .
Once the laughter died down, Freddy shook his head as he wiped some of the tears of laughter from his eyes. You smiled as you looked towards your shoes. You didn't know why you found the situation so funny, maybe it was because he was laughing. If anything, you should be frightened, knowing your trapped in that room with a killer.
He looked at you, still shaking his head. "Go on. That was too good. I needed that laugh." Freddy stepped away from the door and motioned for you to start running again.
You slowly nodded, beginning to walk towards the door. Once you got out of that room, you took of running into the other one, you leaped through the window and heard Freddy slightly chuckle again. Maybe it was because you had actually managed to find a window this time.

Once that round was over, you walked back towards the campfire with your fellow survivors that were in that match. Laurie, Meg, and Jake. You all went to you spots around the campfire and you intensely watched the flames, you thoughts going everywhere.
It must have been obvious that you were in deep thought because Claudette spoke up from beside you. "Hey. Its everything alright, Y/n?" Out of everyone in the group, she seemed the most caring.
You looked over towards her and thought about what you were going to say. You couldn't exactly tell her what was on your mind so you simply nodded and plastered a fake smile onto your face. You could tell that she knew you were lying, but she dropped the subject for you, simply nodding and pushing her glasses up.
You turned your attention back towards the flames and bit your lip. You had so many questions and thoughts running through your mind, but you continued to think the same question over and over again.
'Why cant I get Freddy's laugh out of my head?'
(A/N: Yeetttt. Stay beautiful!)
