You sighed as you walked through the school hallways of the high school you went to. You walked outside and you were about to begin your short trip home, when Sydney and her little group stopped you.

"Hey Y/n!" Sydney called out as she gave you a friendly wave. They walked closer to you. "Are you doing anything tonight?" She asked with a smile on her face.

You curiously raised your eyebrows, but shook your head. This was odd. Them asking if you had any plans. You all weren't very close. You were aquatinted and occasionally hung out, but that was only if you bumped into each other somewhere.

"Well would you like to come to a party at Stu's tonight?" Sydney asked. You allowed your eyes to trail over to Stu, who had his arm around Tatum and his usual grin on his lips.

You slightly frowned before turning your attention back to Sydney. You gave her a slight smile and responded to her. "Well... I'll think about it." You told her. She nodded, still smiling, and bid you goodbye before walking off with her friends.

As you began the walk home, tons of thoughts and questions ran through your mind. Was it going to be a big party? Why were they inviting you? Will there be food there? (A/N: me)

Pushing the questions to the side, you thought about Stu. You've had a crush on him for so long now. You've had a thing for him for years. Now... he's with Tatum. Tatum... what's not to like about her?

She's gorgeous. Not only that, but she's strong and sarcastic. She always stands up for herself and her friends. It was admirable. Any guy would be lucky to have her. Stu was lucky. She was lucky.

You sighed when you finally entered your home. The short ten minute walk felt like a twenty one today.

You shut the door behind you and went straight to your bedroom. You could see your father passed out on the couch as your mother watched television.

"How was school?" She questioned as she saw you walking up the stairs. You shrugged and responded with an 'okay'. She nodded and let you go upstairs.

Once you were in your bedroom, your eyes began to scan every article of clothing in your closet. What should you wear? You know reached your hand in and pulled out a skirt and long sleeved shirt. This should work, right?

 This should work, right?

(A/N: Your outfit. If you don't like it or it's not your style, just pretend it's something else.)

You slipped it on and looked at yourself in the mirror. You looked good, besides your hair was a mess anyways.

You grabbed a brush and began to comb your messy hair. You styled it to (Whatever style you want) and looked at it in the mirror. Perfect.

You glanced up at the clock hanging on your wall and your eyes widened. It was already getting late. You had spent so much time picking out an outfit and doing your hair.
