You had put on one of your favorite outfits that you thought you looked the best in and admired yourself in the mirror.
You did a little twirl and then stopped and nodded in approval at your outfit.
You heard a knock on the door from downstairs which made you quickly rush downstairs and pull it open to reveal your hockey mask wearing boyfriend.
You grinned at him and threw your arms around his tall and muscular frame. He carefully wrapped his arms around you and held you.
You loved it whenever you two simply hugged. It's the small things that bring a smile to your lips. Hugs are just so comforting and you feel safe in Jason's arms. More safe that you've ever felt anywhere else or with anyone else.
You breathed in his scent, which was surprisingly nice. He smelled like a forest on a nice day. You smiled into his chest before pulling back and gazing at him.
"Hi, Jason." You gave him one of your classic cheesy smiles.
"Hi... Y/n." He slowly spoke. A smile formed on his own lips, but you couldn't see due to the hockey mask that hide his expression.
He led you outside and the two of you made your way to Camp Crystal Lake. You spent a lot of time at the camp compared to your own home. But most of your belongings were at your house. So you went there to get ready for today's little date. You lived only about a ten to fifteen minute walk from the camp.
Jason tried to spend as much time with you as he could, but he did spend a lot of time dealing with teenagers that come to his camp.
Of course, him bailing on you bothered you, but you loved him and understood that he didn't want reckless teenagers in his camp. So you went off into a cabin away from all the mayhem and patiently waited for Jason to handle them.
Sometimes people would make their ways into your cabin, running from Jason, and you would have to take care of them yourself. Which Jason didn't like it when you did so, but you wanted to help him.
You two had agreed to go out at least once every two weeks. By going out, you meant simple things like going on a picnic, cuddling, or other simple things that don't require Jason to go far from his camp.
The two of you walked hand in hand, in a comforting silence. You took glances around at everything, though you've seen it all before many times.
Once you arrived at the little area Jason had prepared for the two of you, you looked at everything in awe.
Some fairy lights were hung from tree to tree. The trees were almost in a perfect circle around a blanket that lay on the ground in the middle.
It seemed so simple, yet something so magical and something that you would never forget.
You couldn't stop the smile that began to form on your lips as you gazed at everything. You glanced over at Jason and gave him an appreciative smile. "This is beautiful, Jason."
You weren't for sure, but you guessed he was smiling under the mask. You had seen his face, but you knew that he preferred to keep it on, so you respected his wishes and let him.
The two of you made your way to the blanket and sat down. You could see the view of the sunset over the lake. You softly smiled as you began to pull some food from out of the basket you had carried with you.
You and Jason began to eat in a peaceful silence. It was usually like this, however, you didn't mind. Just being around him made you happy. There was no need for words.
Once he was done eating, Jason had moved away from the blanket and over away from you. He turned his back to you and began to do something. You shrugged to yourself and continued to eat your food.
A while later, Jason came over to you and sat back down. You looked at him to see he was holding out a flower crown with white and f/c flowers.
You gasped at it. Sure, it wasn't the neatest and he could use some work, but the effort and thought he put into it was enough to make you happy.
He placed it on top of your head and you thanked him by placing a kiss on his mask.
It got a little later and the sun went down. The stars and moon were now visible. Jason and you began to walk back to his cabin, once again, holding hands. His large hand gently held yours, as if he was worried about hurting you.
You two entered the cabin and began to get ready for bed. You two curled up in his bed and he wrapped his arms around you and was quickly asleep.
You softly smiled, your hands moving up to his face and taking off his mask, placing it on the nightstand. You knew it wasn't comfortable to sleep in that old thing.
You smiled at his peaceful form before drifting off into a deep sleep yourself. In your lovers arms.
