You walked into the slasher mansion with Jason right behind you. Once the door shut, creating a loud noise, multiple heads turned towards the two of you.
You gave them a cheesy grin before making your way to the couch and plopping yourself down onto it, right next to Chucky, who looked up at you and then towards Jason, who left instantly and returned to his camp.
"Where were you two all day?" Amanda curiously asked as she took her eyes off the book in front of her.
"We just hung out all day at the camp." You shrugged as you fiddled with your fingers, a blank expression taking over your features.
"Didn't you want to have a picnic today with him?" Amanda now asked, closing her book and giving you her full attention.
"Well yes, but some kids showed up so we didn't..." You trailed off as a frown now appeared on your lips.
Amanda gave you a pitiful look, shaking her head at your words. This happened every time you and Jason tried to go out for a little date. Some teenagers would show up and Jason would rather focus on them than you.
Chucky sat beside you with a glare on his plastic face as he stared down at the floor in front of him. He didn't like how Jason neglected you and never spent any time with you like he should.
"That's bullshit. You deserve so much more than some hockey mask wearing dumbass who never gives you the love and attention you need. He could ignore them for at least an hour, but he chooses not to." Chucky paused, muttering to himself. He didn't realize he was saying these words out loud. "I wouldn't treat you like that. We would go out everyday even if its only for an hour or two. I would get you gifts and give you my attention, always. I would make a better boyfriend than him anyway." He ended, his plastic head shaking in disapproval at your current boyfriend.
Amanda' eyebrows were raised in slight shock as she listened to that. Her eyes trailed over towards you to see you looking to the floor with red tinted cheeks and a shocked expression. Amanda slowly stood up with her book in hand and left the room, giving you two some privacy.
Chucky's plastic blue eyes widened once he looked over and saw you shocked expression. At that moment, he had realized that he had said all of that out loud. He wanted to throw himself into the lit fire place, but stayed put and looked down to the floor, wondering what was on your mind.
You had so many questions running through your mind that you couldn't concentrate on just one. He liked you? For how long? Why? The questions just kept coming and coming. You forced yourself to push them to the side and think about how you felt towards Chucky.
Lately, the two of you had grown a lot closer than before. Constantly joking around with each other, running errands together, helping him kill people, and so many other things. You were beginning to feel a connection with him, but pushed it to the side after you realized that he most likely didn't feel the same. But now that you know he feels something towards you, you can't push it away any longer.
So yes, you did like the red headed, Good Guys doll. You just never wanted to admit it to a single soul. Not even yourself. But now, you had to deal with this problem, you couldn't push it away any longer.
You turned towards Chucky, who was now nervously looking at you, waiting for you to say something... anything.
"I..." You began, but trailed off, not knowing what to say about any of this.
"I like you." Chucky spoke before sighing. "I get it. You're with Jason. So lets just forget about it, okay?"
"I like you too..." You quietly spoke as you looked down, suddenly finding your fingers interesting. You fiddled with them, nervously.
Chucky looked up at you with a shocked expression. He scanned your face to make sure you were being serious and weren't making a joke out of him. It seemed you were dead serious.
"Do you maybe.. want to go out on that picnic?" Chucky asked. You grinned as you nodded your head.
So the two of you went out and had a little picnic and discussed your feelings and what action was going to be taken about Jason. After everything was handled and you and Chucky began to date, he kept to his word and the two of you spent your extra time together everyday. You couldn't be happier.
