Ryou Soutou is a boy with a Quirk unlike any other, allowing him to tap into powers of the legendary heroes, the Kamen Riders. Once a Vigilante doing things on his own, he enrolls into U.A. High in hopes of redemption to learn the ways of becoming...
Since classes had started at U.A. High, things seemed to be going well. Everyone seemed to be adjusting to the school life well. Almost everyone (with the the exception of Bakugou) had become good friends and started to learn more about each other.
Ryou and Midoriya became good friends quickly, and it also helped that Ryou asked him to help with his Kamen Rider research. Both of their minds put together accomplished a lot. Ryou even brought some of his tools to school and worked on a Ridewatch during his lunch break, while talking with Midoriya.
"According to some of the notes I took..." Midoriya said, flicking through his book of hero notes. "...Kamen Rider Cross-Z wasn't the only one who assisted Kamen Rider Build. Others named Rogue, and Grease eventually helped him out of a lot of tight spots."
"Huh, seems Build had a lot of allies." Ryou said, sautering a metal wire into the Ridewatch. "Midoriya, how come you know so much about Kamen Riders as well? Didn't think they'd fit into your definition as heros."
Midoriya simply just blinked. "Of course Kamen Riders are heros! Sure, sometimes the public may not like them a lot...or approve of them sometimes...but I still think they're cool!"
Ryou turned around and smiled at Midoriya. "You know, it's really reassuring to hear that once in a while."
"How much longer until the Ridewatches are finished?"
Ryou finally sealed the Ridewatch together, and looked at the final product.

"It's finished." Ryou admired his handiwork happily. "Behold, the third functioning Ridewatch in my arsenal: Kamen Rider Chaser."
"It looks so cool!!!" A female voice said behind Ryou.
Ryou jumped and turned around as he saw Tsuyu, Mina, Uraraka and Iida standing next to his desk.
"Can you use it?" Mina asked, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
"Er-" Ryou put his new Ridewatch back in his pocket. "I'll pass for now. Maybe soon. After all, it isn't tested yet."
"Awe...."
"Iida, I was actually going to come look for you. Thank you very much for unlocking the new Ridewatch for me. It wouldn't have been possible without your help, and for that, I'm truely greatful." Ryou stood up and bowed to Iida.
"You are welcome! Just be sure to use that watch as a proper hero, not a rogue vigilante!" Iida said proudly.
Ryou rolled his eyes. That was the class president, a living role model indeed.
"Everyone please take your seats." Aizawa called out from the front of the classroom.
Ryou walked back to his seat, stuffing his Chaser Ridewatch in his pocket.
