The next day for training was the same as the last. Everyone was working hard to build up their Quirks as high as they possibly could. Especially Ryou and Sunny. While Sunny still hadn't been able to use the Ginga Miridewatch, she had gotten better at using the three she had already.
In the meantime, Ryou was mastering Perfect Paradox easily. The power was balanced fairly well, so it was easy to handle and struck hard when it needed to. Tiger was impressed by his progress, saying that Ryou was giving the "Plus Ultra" that others needed.
That evening, the Wild Wild Pussycats announced there would be a test of courage, in which Class 1-B would first try to scare class 1-A. Some of the students thought it was pretty silly, but Iida took it pretty seriously.
They initially drew for pairs, but five students had to go back with Aizawa for extra lessons, because they failed the hero vs. students test. Midoriya was initially going to be by himself, but was happy to find out Ryou was paired with him. Sunny, being the extra one out, was allowed to pair up with one group, so she decided to pair up with Uraraka and Tsuyu.
Eventually, it was time for Tsuyu, Uraraka, and Sunny to enter the forest, after hearing screams of terror for a little while.
Sunny looked as Uraraka and Tsuyu were holding hands, Uraraka seemed pretty scared, but Tsuyu had the same look she always did on her face.
It seems I'm the odd one out...that's kind of disappointing.
It seemed Tsuyu had little to no intentions of speaking to Sunny, or even including her for that matter.
"Excuse me..."
Tsuyu and Uraraka turned to face Sunny.
"I think it's time to finally settle the tension between us, Tsuyu. We need to have a talk."
"What about? Kero."
Sunny clenched the sides of her skirt as she shivered a little. "About what's been happening with Ryou, you, and me."
Tsuyu still had that normal look on her face, but the air had gotten much more tense than it normally got. Uraraka was still looking around frantically for anybody from the other class.
"You're being cold to me, but especially Ryou. And I don't think that's fair to him. He's tried to be nice to you. Someone was bound to get rejected, and it wasn't going to end perfectly."
Tsuyu shook her head. "I don't understand. How could Ryou choose you when I've been there for him?"
"It's just..." Sunny sighed. "...I guess it's just the way things happened, that's all. Tsuyu...I still want to be friends with you. I think you're a wonderful person, and what happened between us three shouldn't scowl a friendship. At least even if you choose to hate me, please be okay with Ryou."
Sunny looked at the ground, kicking some dirt nervously.
This is so scary...I've never really had to confront a friend or colleague about problems. It's scary to try to be confident to talk to them.
After a long silence, Tsuyu let go of Uraraka's hand, and walked up to Sunny.
"I'm really sorry, Tsuyu, that things happened the way they happened." Sunny said sincerely.
Tsuyu formed a smile on her face, which made a wave of relief flow over Sunny.
"I forgive you, Kero-Kero. And you can call me Tsu."
Sunny beamed in delight and hugged Tsuyu happily.
"Thank you! Thank you! I promise I'll be a great friend to you!"
