Ch.56 - Shine like Silver

"How did you do that?"

Ryou was pacing around the lounge erratically, sweating bullets. He had made it back the school dorms okay, presumably dropped off by Endeavour, who laid him on a couch and left him be. And when he woke up and realized what happened, he lost his mind. Which to some coincidence Midoriya came out and just so happened to see him.

"How the hell should I know? I'm not sure...I just...was in the moment, and, the moment told me to temporarily boost Endeavour's power and give him Kamen Rider capabilities!"

Midoriya started scratching his chin. "But that makes no sense...you haven't been able to do it before...unless this is an evolution of your powers...like you're growing somehow."

Ryou slumped on the couch and groaned. "Man, I don't freaking know. But there was something that really bothered me. That woman Kamen Rider. She was taking everything Endeavour threw at her and gave it back doubled. Heck, possibly even tripled."

"And this is Silver's, um, mentor?"

"100%. And this gives us two threats to deal with."

Midoriya started to mutter to himself, to the point that Ryou started to get really irritated because he couldn't understand anything that Midoriya was saying.

"Hey!" Ryou slammed his hand on the lounge table.

Midoriya snapped back into reality with a jolt, and nodded. "Sorry. At the moment we have no idea who they are, but we know what they're capable of. They can certainly hold their own."

"But something she said irked me...she mentioned any non-rider wouldn't be able to harm her. But that makes little to no sense. Before, it seemed like anybody could take on a Rider. Me, Doctor Genus, Sunny..."

"It's possible, entirely possible, they've ascended to that powerful of a form, that they can isolate non-rider attacks easily."

Ryou nodded. "That could be the case. But I know one thing, they stormed the city, which means they could, at any time come back. So there's one solution."

"Ryou, please don't say what you're going to say." A voice called behind him.

Ryou turned around to see Sunny behind him.

Wow, she looks really cute in her pyjamas...wait, what am I saying?! "What are you doing here?"

"I overheard your conversation, and I think your plan is pretty stupid, to be honest."

"Which is?" Midoriya piped up.

"He's going to track down those two people he fought and take them on himself."

"To be honest, I never really insinuated I was going to do that myself..."

Sunny grabbed Ryou's hand. "You're not taking them on alone."

"Sunny, I don't want you to get-"

"And you're not going at all, anytime soon."

"What? Who said you could tell me what to do?!"

"The power of Divine Hearld Zi-O. Once you use that, you'll be able to take them on."

Ryou jolted up out of the couch. "Wait a minute, how did you find out about that?"

Sunny slightly giggled. "I asked Endeavour when he got here what was going on with you. He told me what power-up would be able to take on those two people."

Midoriya smiled. "That's it! Then that's our next move!

Ryou shook his head. "I have no idea where that even is. Anyways, let's just sleep on this and decide our next move tomorrow or something."
