Ch.52 - A New Beginning

The sun rose on a fresh morning above U.A. High. The birds were chirping, and the grass still had dew on it from the night before.

But for Ryou, it meant a fresh start for him.

After everything that's happened...Ryou thought to himself. I never imagined I'd be back here at U.A. again. The battle with Doctor Genus, the battle with the different Dimension Riders...it all still hasn't quite settled in yet.

"Ryou!" He heard behind him.

Ryou turned around to see Midoriya, on his knees with his hands clasped, muttering something over and over.

"I'm so sorry! I really am! I took advantage of your power, and I thought you were with the Villain when I was wrong...and...I'm just so sorry!"

"Um, hey, that's...um...alright. The school made up for it by publicly apologizing."

"Still, I want to say that I'm so sorry!" Midoriya never moved, and was sweating drastically.

"Okay, Midoriya, please. You're freaking me out. Just act like normal already."

Midoriya got up, still very worried, but Ryou thought it best to change the topic.

"Well, how about you help me with my stuff?" Ryou pointed to a few boxes by the gate.

"You're moving back in today?"

"Yeah."

Ryou walked back in to the dormitory, and to his relief, nobody was out yet.

He went down a hall and finally opened the door to his own room.

It was exactly how he left it, like nobody had touched it. His bed was still how he left it, and his spare parts were still on his desk.

"Nice of them to make moving in easier."

Midoriya arrived at his room door, and put the boxes on the table.

"Anything else, Ryou?"

"Nope. Bye." Ryou shoved Midoriya out of his room, and slammed the door behind him.

"Um...okay."

Ryou emptied out the contents of his boxes on his desk, which was an accumulation of most of his Kamen Rider things he had left.

"Let's see..." Ryou moved everything to two seperate piles. The junk pile, and the functioning pile.

After a while, Ryou discovered had practically nothing left. All that he had left was his Zi-O Driver, his Grand Zi-O Ridewatch, the Zi-O, Might Creator VRX, and Paradox Ridewatch, and that was all that was left that was functional.

The rest in his junk pile was broken pieces of different Ridewatches and what he could salvage from the last few days. He probably could scrap together a new Ohma Zi-O Ridewatch, maybe the Ohma Driver, and a few new Ridewatches, maybe...but other than that it was just a bunch of broken pieces.

"Urg. This is frustrating." Ryou kicked his desk and flopped on his bed.
