Tea Leaves (Levi x reader)

Chapter 2- Reunion

Quick a/n, I have made it so that parents and family can come to the graduation of the training corps as it adds to the story, I'm not sure if they actually do it or not, also, I have up to here planned and the end but nothing else oops. Onto the story.

Y/N's pov.
It has been five years since the fall of Wall Maria and things have been getting better, the tea shop is the midst popular in Trost, I have met humanities strongest and he likes my tea, he tracked down my brother and his friends, and I have pretty much forgotten about that day. Today is the day that Eren, Armin, Mikasa and the rest of the training corps are graduating. I have been granted permission to see them before they go off to whatever branch they choose and I am extremely excited, I haven't seen them in years.

Today is also the day Levi goes on an expedition which means I want see him for a while, that I am upset at. Every time I see him I fall in love with him more but I know he doesn't have time for relationships with his job. I just want to see him happy.

No one's pov.
The street was full of people waving the Survey Corps off as they sat on their horses, ready to leave the safety of Wall Maria, Levi scanned over the crowd to see if Y/N was there to wave him off, but she wasn't. One of Y/N's staff had fallen ill and Y/N had to fill in for her, meaning she couldn't wave Levi off, instead she had to brew a large amount of tea for the crowd that was going to arrive after the departure of the scouts.

Y/N had finished serving all the customers for the day, she quickly closed the shop, cleaned everything, and quickly got changed to see her brother at the graduation. It was exciting for not only her but all the customers that she had told her story to. Y/N And other families made their way to the ceremony.

When Y/N had a look at all the trainees she couldn't recognise anyone, as soon as they called the top 10 Y/N realised how much they had grown, the trainees gave one last salute before they were granted time to talk took their families.

Y/N waited for the crowd to die down before she went to look for the trio, finding them sat on some stairs arguing about what divisions they should join.

"You know in my opinion, you should all just join the garrison, I know I wouldn't mind getting to slack off and drink alcohol all day, " Y/N said as the trio looked at her, smiling at the sight of the eldest Jaeger.

"Y/N!" The three yelled in unison as Eren walked over to his sister and pulled her into a hug.

"I'm sorry that we never said goodbye and ram away, I just didn't want you to stop us," Eren explained as he hugged Y/N harder.

"What makes you think I would've stopped you?" Y/N asked, "I was the one who was supporting your decision, remember?"

"I just thought your mind would've changed after mum's death," Eren steered to cry, everything that was happening in that moment was too overwhelming for him. He stepped away from his sister and invited her to sit with them.

That night was the best night Y/N had I a while, she knew that the group was extremely sorry for making her worry but that didn't matter at that moment, they were all together for the first time in years.

Morning rolled around and Y/N set up the shop, getting the customers that walled in with a cup of tea. Y/N looked at the top of the wall surrounding the city, she knew Eren was up there as a last part of his training before he would join the survey corps. The only problem was Y/N looked up at the wrong time. The ground shook as a flash of light illuminated the city, steam rose from behind the wall and just like in Shiganshina, the colossal titan looked over the wall before kicking it in.
