Chapter 12- Moment

"Y/N, Captain Levi said some mail for you arrived. You should probably go and get it," Eren said while walking into Y/N's room.

"Thanks Eren. Can you please tell him I'll be up in a minute to collect them?" Y/N replied as Eren nodded and left the room. Y/N was starting to get nervous about the upcoming expedition so she was trying to persuade Erwin to let her go with them. Y/N was sat on her bed trying to think of things to say when Levi came down to get room.

"Hey Y/N. You alright? You've been down here for half an hour after your brother came to tell me something. What's wrong?" Levi asked as he sat on the girls bed.

"I want to go on the expedition," Y/N simply stared while Levi looked at her in shock.

"Are you serious Y/N?!" Levi stood up to face her. "There's a reason why we aren't sending you on the expedition and that reason is because you haven't been fully educated!"

"That's funny because the last time I checked I nearly beat you in an ODM race!" Y/N yelled back. "With a months worth of practice I can be ready. I already know enough about titans from our talks back in the cafe. Speaking of which, today's my day off right? So I'm going to go to Trost for today."

"Y/N wait," Levi called out to the H/C haired woman but she just walked pass him.

"Y/N! You're back!" Kendra yelled as Y/N walked into the tea store.

"Hey Kendra, how's the store treating you?" Y/N asked.

"It's good. Hey, do you remember during the Trost attack how we were looking for my dad? Well I found him but he's gone missing again. Isn't that weird?"

"Yeah it is. Did you see where he went?" Y/N questioned.

"The last time I saw him was after we were allowed back into Trost. I saw him leave the gates to the inner part of the wall and I followed him to a forest. I have no idea why though." Kendra started to boil some water for Y/N's tea.

Y/N sat in silence looking out at the streets of Trost when she saw a familiar figure. It was Levi. When Levi walked into the shop Y/N sighed, finished her tea, payed and then walked out of the building only to be pursued by Levi.

"Y/N wait up. There's something I have to say!" Levi yelled as Y/N stopped.

"I'll give you one minute to talk and then you have to leave me alone. Got it?" Y/N threatened.

"First of all, I'm not scared of you. Secondly, I'm trying to explain why you aren't allowed on this expedition. Erwin said that he needs his most elite soilders alive for the future and the doesn't want to risk it with you. Especially since you are only new to the scouts and you could be like your brother. We can't afford to lose you on your first ever expedition."

"Levi, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have yelled at you," Y/N said with tears in her eyes.

"It's okay. I shouldn't have yelled either. Now what do you say we head back for dinner?"

"I would like that Levi."

"Come along now. We shouldn't keep him waiting," a voice spoke as it pulled Y/N towards the entrance of the forest. "Don't be scared, you're in good hands."

"Get off me you creep!" Y/N tried to tell but nothing came out of her mouth.

Suddenly another man walked out from behind the trees and behind him was a young boy. Y/N tried to run over to him but the man holding her was too strong.

The man standing next to the young boy reached into his bag and grabbed a box that opened to reveal a syringe and some sort of vile. The man grabbed the boy's arm and stuck the syringe into it. Y/N quickly turned her head around, only to be met by the fist of her captor.

Y/N bolted upright from the set she was lying down on. Levi was sat next to her, worry plastered on his face.

"Are you okay," he asked calmly, trying not to startle the girl who just woke up.

"I had another nightmare like the one the other night," Y/N responded, rubbing her tired E/C eyes.

"Come on Y/N, you and I both know that these nightmares are worrying you. You should tell someone about them. Maybe Hanji might be able to help."

"Levi, even though Hanji and I are good friends, I don't think I would want her trying to help me. Especially since I might be like Eren," Y/N responded to Levi's idea.

"Okay then, can you at least promise me that whenever something troubles you, you will go and tell someone's about it."

Y/N looked at Levi and smiled.

"I promise."

That could have been better but oh well. It is definitely going to go back on the storyline in the next chapter.
