Tea Leaves (Levi x reader)

chapter 3- Monsters and Memories

I'm going to change the POV for this chapter. Also, there are going to be things that don't match to the actual storyline as I need some things changed to progress with the story and other times I just completely forget. Also, the shop is underneath your house, like how some people own shops and live above them.

Last but not least this means that there's a flashback happening ok cool.

The first thing you did was evacuate everyone from the shop, as you pushed the last person out of the door and pointed them in the direction of the gate, a large rock fell in front of you, blocking your exit. The only way out of the shop was through a window upstairs.

You ran towards the room that the window was installed in for emergencies. On your way you grabbed your notebook and put it into a bag, it had far too much sentimental value to be forgotten and left in the house for years. You crawled out of the window and on to the roof where you saw living hell for the second time.

You had ran in the opposite direction of the gate but you didn't realise, no soldiers were in the area which meant that they were most likely wiped out, you noticed something was wrong when you could see the hole in the wall and titans walking through it. You turned around and ran as fast as you could down the zigzagging lanes of Trost, you realised you had no idea where you were but you could still see people running towards the gate, which meant the evacuation hadn't finished.

You ran as fast as you could down the straight lane you knew took you towards the gate when you tripped, sending yourself and your art supplies everywhere. You didn't notice the three titans starting to surround you as you frantically tried to pick up the scattered pencils and paper. You picked up a drawing of your brother on his fifth birthday and everything stopped, you looked art the photo as th he memory cane back to you.

"Hey Y/N!" Eren yelled as you were scribbling in your notebook, "do you wanna go on a walk together, pretty please?!"

"Eren, I'm kinda busy, " you lied, you just didn't want to spend time with him, it was a perfect morning for sketching the drops of water from the earlier rain that hung off of leaves on the tree outside your house.

Come on please, I wanna sketch the view from a tree I found and it's really pretty, please, for my birthday?"

And that was how you ended up walking in the rain, towards a tree that had the most terrible view in the world, at least Eren was happy.

"Hey Eren?" You asked, "was sketching the real reason you wanted to come out here?"

Eren hesitated, he had actually wanted to spend some time with his older sister but didn't actually know how to ask her, "no," he answered truthfully as you smiled,

"Then why don't I draw you for a birthday present, the view is amazing, " absolute lie but the look in Eren's eyes made you the happiest girl in the world and after that moment, the view changed from awful to beautiful.

The three titans came closer and you finally noticed them, one about seven metres tall and the other two about 15 metres, the seven metre and one of the fifteen metre were coming from in front of you while the other was behind you.

You froze, terrified that you were going to be devoured when the one on it's own punched the other fifteen metre, knocking it to the ground, it then proceeded to attack it's nape, killing it. The titan turned and killed the other titan before reaching to pick you up. Did it kill the others so it could have me all to itself, you thought, no, it's attacks were way too thought out. The titan grabbed you in the palm of its hand and walked you closer to the gate before putting you down and walking away.

When you arrived at the gate you noticed a carriage was blocking the entrance, and a titan was running towards the crowd. People started to scream and tried to push the carriage, which didn't work, everyone stopped as the titan fell to the ground, steam emitting from it's nape. When you looted at the person on top of it you noticed that it was Mikasa. She walled over to the presumed owner of the cart and managed to persuade him to let the people in first, you hung around as the crowd started to walk through the gate, you needed to talk to Mikasa quickly, luckily she noticed you and walked over to where you were standing.

"I need to quickly let you know something Mikasa," you said in a stern voice before reaching into your bag, grabbing out a piece of paper. You revealed the drawing to her and she seemed confused, "If you see this titan don't harm it, it saved my life and it showed no interest in wanting to eat me, I had to quickly sketch it out when it was bringing me here," you gave her the drawing and walked through the gate, one thought going through your mind.

What the hell was that titan?
