Tea Leaves (Levi x reader)

chapter 6- Closer

I sent my friends the two pictures of Levi and my least weeb friend made this for me. I have another picture but that's a story for another day. Enjoy!

Y/N walked out of the courtroom in tears, Eren was safe but the stress of everything that happened was too much for her to handle, meaning she had to let her emotions out.

As she was walking down the corridor Y/N noticed Levi leaning against the frame of a door. Y/N knew that he was waiting for her so she walked up to him, as he straightened himself he felt a sharp sting on his cheek. Y/N had slapped him.

"HOW DARE YOU NOT TELL ME YOUR PLAN!" Y/N yelled before calming herself, "if you just told me what you were going to do, I wouldn't be this mad. "Y/N could see the guilt in Levi's eyes but walked off before he could say anything. "I'm going to check on my ex co-workers to see how they are doing," she explained while walking towards the carriages.

When Y/N arrived at the shop she used to own, Kendra opened the doors for her, revealing a large gift basket of her tea.

"We thought you might like to take some to share with everyone at your new job, we kinda got carried away by the amount and we are sorry that it's the size of a titan's head," Kendra explained, passing the large basket to Y/N who was in tears, she didn't want to leave her life long dream but she knew she had to. Kendra closed the shop early so they could have a farewell dinner for the to be scout.

When Y/N finally arrived at the survey corps hq her belongings were taken to her sleeping quarters and she was beckoned into a room where Eren, the two solders she was standing with at the trial, Erwin and Levi, were talking about the survey corps. Y/N introduced herself to the group and sat next to her brother, who apologised for making her worry. After a while, one of the soilders, who had introduced themselves as Hanji, pulled out something wrapped in a handkerchief from her pocket, it was Eren's tooth. Hanji asked Eren to open his mouth to see where the tooth fell out when she suddenly stopped before saying to Eren.

"Your tooth... It grew back."

Y/N was surprised but then remembered the reason why. Everything that happened confused Y/N so she went out to go get some fresh air and tried to forget some events that happened earlier in the day. While she was sat on the ground she remembered that her sketchbook was in her jacket pocket, it hadn't been moved since the battle of Trost. Y/N opened the book and grabbed her pencil, drawing the flowers and animals she saw around her. After a while, Y/N closed her book and started heading back to the headquarters for dinner.

On her walk back she noticed the figure of someone sitting near the forest, so Y/N decided to go see who it was. As she got closer she recognised the figure, it was Levi. He looked over his shoulder and noticed the S/C girl heading his way. LEVI immediately stood up and walked over to her, pulling her into a hug while apologising over and over for what he had to do to Eren.

"I'm so sorry Y/N, we had to do it or you and Eren would have been put in the hands of the Military Police and I wouldn't have been able to live with myself if that were to happen. You are so important to me and I can't loose you," Levi said as he loosened his embrace.

"I understand Levi, I was just mad that you didn't tell me about it," Y/N replied, "but I am a bit nervous about the thought of actually joining the Scouts, but I have no choice do I?" She continued.

"I'm sorry but you don't have a choice. At least you don't have to go on our next expedition that Eyebrows is already planning," Levi stated as Y/N laughed at the nickname Levi gave to the commander. "Instead, you will be training with one of our recovering solders until we get back." Levi finished talking and motioned for Y/N to follow him back to the headquarters.

After dinner Y/N was brought to the outside of her room and given her uniform for the beginning of her training in the morning. Y/N thanked the solider and walked into her room, putting the uniform in her dresser. She changed out of her normal clothes and put on her favourite F/C nightgown. Y/N noticed the basket of tea sitting on her bed so she decided to head to the mess hall to make some for herself.

When Y/N walked into the mess hall to brew her tea she saw Levi doing his paperwork. Y/N was making a bit of noise but Levi didn't notice, he was so absorbed by his paperwork that he couldn't hear anything that was going on around him. Y/N decided to brew him some tea as he looked stressed. When the tea had finished she walked over to Levi and put the cup down next to him. Levi immediately snapped out of his work and smiled at the girl standing next to him. The silence between the two was comforting and Levi was able to finish his papers quickly with Y/N around.

When Levi finished his work he looked over and saw Y/N fast asleep, her cup still in her hand. Levi put the two cups in the kitchen and picked Y/N up, bringing her back to her room. Levi put Y/N on her bed smiled before bending down and planting a kiss on her forehead.

Y/N subconsciously smiled at the gesture and Levi walked out of the room, heat brushing his cheeks.

Can I just say (excuse my French) what the fuck. When I started this chapter the reads were only at 14 and now they are at 159. Also I'm ranked #12 in #readerinsert. I would also like to thank everyone who has voted for my story. Thank you so much!!
