"Come on, we've been through this. I can't do it because I'll doing it for someone else and you still owe me," a figure spoke in darkness, their face not visible.
"I don't understand why I have to do it. Don't you have other friends? I have my own daughter to worry about so I don't see why I have to go around doing stuff for you," another figure said as they stepped out from behind a tree.
"Because you owe me, but only do it when the time is right, and you will know when that is," the first figure explained before handing the other person a box.
Y/N was walking through the forest when she heard the exchange so she tried to remain quiet when she stepped in the wrong place, twigs snapping under her foot.
"Who's there?" One of the figure yelled before being cut off by the other.
"Whoever it is has heard too much," the clouds parted and the moon shone down in the forest. "I can see them clearly, they have been here the entire time and need to die." The figure lifted his cloaked hand up to his mouth and bit it, light engulfing his body. He reached for Y/N as she tried to run form the scene, only to be grabbed by the large hand.
"Somebody help!" She screamed but nobody answered, the hand tightened and squeezed Y/N...
Y/N woke up in a cold sweat before sighing and lying back down on her bed. 'It was just another nightmare,' she thought to herself as she closed her eyes to try to sleep but she couldn't. The fictional conversation that happened in her head kept bringing questions to her mind. The two figures sounded strangely familiar and the forest looked like somewhere she had been. Y/N decided to go make herself a cup of tea to try to relax.
When Y/N walked into the mess hall she noticed it was empty, which was kind of a shock seeing as Levi would be up late and would always work in the mess hall. She made her cup of tea and then decided to go sit on the roof to look at the stars for a bit and maybe draw some constellations.
Y/N was shocked to see Levi sat in the slots of the castles battlement. He was just sitting there, no paperwork, no tea, no nothing. Y/N decided to sit down next to him and give him her cup of tea.
"I remember when I first joined the scouts. This was where my frien- no, family and I sat before they passed," Levi explained before taking a sip of the tea.
"They must have meant a lot to you of you thought of them as family," Y/N smiled as she pulled out her sketchbook. "Hey Levi, the moon is pretty bright tonight and I can see your face well. Is it okay off you could stay still for a couple of minutes so I can draw you?" Y/N questioned, heat rising to her cheeks.
"Sure, wherever," was all Levi said behoove he finished the tea and choose a comfortable pose that he could keep for a while.
--
And... Done!" Y/N smiled and turned the drawing around to show Levi.
"Wow Y/N. You have some serious talent," Levi exclaimed while Y/N pushed a stand of hair behind her ear.
"Thanks. I really have my parents to thank for all my skills. If it weren't for my dad I would probably be dead. He right me all the medical skills I would need to know in the future," Y/N said as Levi smiled.
"I would have loved to meet your parents," Levi looked up at the sky. "I'm pretty sure our mothers are having a good time up there. Looking out for us and gossiping about whatever they see."
"I'm sure that they are."
"Hey Y/N, please promise me that you won't die on your first expedition. I know you aren't going on the one that is happening in a month but I just want you to make that promise for me now,"Levi suddenly said.
"I promise I won't if you also promise me that you won't die," Y/N replied.
"Can I just ask. Why did you decide to come sit on the roof?" Levi asked.
" I had a nightmare and couldn't get back to sleep," Y/N sighed.
"Well there's an extra bed in my room if you would like to have someone in the same room as you," Levi offered.
"Are you sure? I don't want to intrude."
"It's fine, I'm the one who offered anyway."
Levi pulled Y/N off of the battlement and they walked to his room. Y/N sat on the bed that she was offered and Levi Lau down on his.
"Thank you Levi," Y/N simply stared before lying down and pulling the blankets over her body.
"Goodnight Y/N."
I'm sorry that nothing really exciting happened. I just felt like I needed to update and I thought a filler chapter might actually work well right now, especially with the you and Levi scenes. Also, the dream may or may not play a role in the future. I've got to decide.
