Chapter 4- Questions

You were sat near the carriages that were bringing people into wall Sina. You didn't want to go into the last wall just yet, you had a feeling something good was going to happen.

You drew a more detailed picture of the titan you encountered when you heard a familiar voice, it was your sick co worker, Kendra. You immediately went over to her to see if she was okay, her father was in the military which was obviously terrifying for her.

"Kendra, hey," you said as you walked over to her, " how are you?"

"I'm a bit worried, I can't find my dad and all the soldiers have retreated," she said as she looked around for her dad. You decided to help and look for him, completely forgetting to look for your brother.

On the other side of the wall Levi and the rest of the survey corps were making their way back to Trost. Levi knew it was going to take them a while so he tried to think of you, which only ended up with him thinking about you getting devoured. His squad noticed the worry on his face and tried to comfort him, which only made things worse.

Nobody had ever seen Levi so anxious. He had rid his stoic expression and replaced it with a worried look, Petra reassured him that you were alive and that you weren't going to leave him alone. The words that Petra spoke composed Levi and they continued on the path back to Trost.

"Y/N!, have you found my dad?!" Kendra yelled through the crowd.

"No I haven't, sorry!" You yelled back.

"Y/N, I think we need to leave Wall Maria now, half an hour has passed and we don't know when the armoured titan could arrive," she suddenly spoke, and you agreed, you didn't want to witness the fall of Wall Rose so you and Kendra hopped onto a carriage and made your way through the gate. At that moment, a flash of lightning went off and steam rose into the sky, it was coming from inside the wall.

"What the hell was that?" Kendra asked but honestly you had no idea. It did remind you of the light that flashed before the colossal titan appeared, which meant that the armoured titan could be there ready to take out the gate that was becoming smaller with every step the horse took.

Half an hour had passed and there was no sign of the armoured titan, Kendra had fallen asleep, leaving you to your thoughts. I wonder if Levi is okay, you thought as you noticed a solider on a horse riding towards your carriage.

"The wall was been plugged?" A passenger asked the shoulder who just nodded their head. How did they manage to plug up the hole with the limited amount of technology, unless they found something to do the job. You thought to yourself as you rode back towards the entrance of Trost.

The cannons fired throughout that night and you didn't get much sleep, you were still thinking of the earlier incident and how that titan had helped you instead of eating you. You also thought about your brother and Levi, were they okay, did the worry about you. All these thoughts collected in your head as you fell asleep.

When you woke up you heard people talking about a human that had the ability to turn into a titan, you shrugged it off and labeled it as fake news as you took a stroll through the forest that was near where you were staying for the next couple of days. You sat down and sketched the trees, trying to forget about the gossip traveling around, it was fake, wasnt it?

A week had passed and you were able to return to Trost. When you walked to your shop you noticed that the rock blocking the entrance was no longer there, meaning you could enter easily. The first thing you did when you walked in was boil some water and open the shop for people to calm down in. You decided to make the tea free for everyone as the government was going to pay for the damage.

As you were serving customers you noticed Levi outside of the shop, you excused yourself and walked outside to greet him. Levi noticed your presence and smiled, you were alive. That smile didn't last long when Levi remembered the news he needed to deliver.

"Are you alright Levi?" You asked, noticing his change in expression.

"Y/N, you're the sister of Eren Jaeger, am I correct?" He asked, hoping it was just a coincidence that you shared a last name.

"Yeah," you said, confused at his question, "why?"

"Your brother is being trialled, they are deciding whether he lives or not,"

"What do you mean?"

Levi was shocked, the news obviously hadn't reached you, "Y/N, your brother plugged up the wall, he is the one who is able to turn into a titan."

You froze, surely they had their information wrong, why was he accusing your brother of being a titan, "why are you telling me then,"

"Because we need your help."
