Chapter 5- Tribunal Terror

I'm sorry if this is terrible, I can't remember the scene word for word and I'm terrible at dialogue so I'm just going to have you block everything out and when I use dialogue, it's going to be from the first video I watch. Also, I am back from my trip and I am also on holidays so I should be able to update more bc I can stay up later (not like that's ever stopped me). Sorry and enjoy!!

"because we need you help."

Levi looked at you and felt extremely guilty, he didn't want you there to witness any of it but they did need you.

"I guess I don't have any choice," you sighed, "just let me tell my customers that the shop will be closed for the next few days,"

"Whatever they do to Eren they will do to you, if he gets handed to the military police, so will you. I don't want that to happen to you Y/N, they will kill him. If he ends up with us, you will have to join, which means you will need to give up your job."

You looked over at your store and frowned, it was your life long dream and now you have to give it away, at least your best friend was there to take it over and you could visit if the survey corps won.

"Okay. I'll let Kendra know she's the new owner and I'll pack my stuff. Give me five minutes."

Mikasa's POV.

Armin and I were talking at the table about the recent events that have unfolded. I was thinking to myself about Y/N, what if she was like Eren? did she know about him? No, she seemed confused when giving me the drawing of Eren in his titan form. I was talking to Armin about these thoughts when a solider called for us to follow him.

The solder took us to a court and I immediately knew what was happening, Eren was being trialled. they did explain that we were going to court for Eren but they didn't explain why. I looked around the court and saw Y/N with some of the scouts on a viewing platform.

The court room had an uneasy feeling to it, Y/N had no idea what they were going to do Eren but from what Levi told her, it wasn't going to be pretty. A bunch of solders brought Eren in as Dhalis Zachary, the man who would choose the fate of the Jaeger siblings, walked in and sat down. Y/N watched nervously as the trial started, but blocked out everything that was being said, instead she thought about Nova and how the store was going. Y/N snapped out of her thoughts just in time to see Levi beating up Eren. She watched in horror as Levi repeatedly kicked her brother in the face, knocking out a tooth and leaving horrible bruises on his cheeks.

"It's just my opinion, but pain is the best tool for discipline," Levi stated, keeping his eyes on Eren. Mikasa and Y/N were angered by Levi's actions but he brushed it off and continued with his speech. "You don't need to be educated by words, what you need is training," he looked down at Eren and said one last thing before he continued to kick him, only stopping when someone called his name.

"Hold on, Levi," an MP said, his voice shaky from fear, Levi just looked at him and waited for the man to continue. "It's dangerous. What if he starts raging and turns into a Titan?"

Levi kicked Eren one last time before crouching down to his level, "what are you talking about?" He said as he pulled Eren's face towards his," I thought you were going to dissect him." The MP's watched in fear as Levi stood up and continues to speak, "as I heard it, when he turned into a titan, he killed 20 other titans before his strength ran out. If he were an enemy, he might cause more trouble than that Intel's worth. Still, he can't stand against me," he said as he faced the audience of solders and civilians, "what about you on the other hand?" He questioned, "all of you who persecute him, think it over,
Can you actually kill him?" He finished as Erwin raised his hand to start speaking.

"Supreme commander, I have a proposal," he said, continuing after he was asked to elaborate, "Eren's Titan power has a multitude of uncertancies and unknown elements, It is exceedingly dangerous," he paused for a second then continued to speak, "so why don't we put Eren under Captain Levi's command, and send them on a mission outside the walls?"

"Eren as well?" Dhalis asked.

"Yes, whether Eren can control his titan power, and whether he may be of benefit to mankind, should be based off of the results of that mission."

Dhalis started to speak, "Watch over Eren Jaeger, are you able to do that Levi?" He questioned.

"I can definitely kill him," Levi stated, making Y/N mad. "The problem is it will be either all or nothing." Levi turned to face the commander and wait for his final decision.

Dhalis started to speak, "I've made my decision..."

I completely forgot to add any mentions of you in the end but oh well, it's 11:56 and I want to sleep. Goodnight.
