Jake grabs me by the arm and pulls me to his side pinning me against the wall so we're out of their sight.

I lean my head to the side and see the raging lunatic woman and Mr.Odiare walking towards Derek.

" What's going on?" I whisper to Jake.

" We can't stay here," he mumbles.

He tries to pull me away but my feet won't move and my eyes cling on to the scene before me.

" What the hell is going on!" Mr.Odiare bellows.

Derek flinches and Masons eyes cast downwards not making eye contact. Are they scared of him? Their own father?

" Ace sent his goons back here to retrieve his watch and they just happened to make me mad..." Derek growls towards his father.

" Son watch your tone with me..." Mr.Odiare warns.

The lunatic woman with long blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes who seems to be in her mid 30's steps forward.

" Why can't you just listen to your father for once," she sneers in the most annoying voice I have ever heard.

" You're just one of dads flings that he'll get bored of and one day you'll run that's what always happens to woman who love us...right dad? They just run or fucking die!" Derek seethes.

Mr.Odiare raises his hand at Derek and slaps him across the face. I cover my mouth and memories soon flash back of me getting beaten the pain soon rises and I clutch my chest trying to calm down.

Calm down.

Calm down.

Calm down.

A clear bruise is seen on Derek's left cheek and he stands there his eyes cast down.

" Now son what do you say to Lily?" Mr.Odiare asks fixing up his tie.

" Sorry," Derek mumbles clenching his fist.

" I won't leave your father. I'm not like that one stupid girl who left you and went running for the hills," the raging lunatic known as Lily barks.

" She didn't run...she's not here," Derek whispers.

Mr.Odiare stomps his foot to the ground and gives a warning glare to Derek before walking out of the room with the stupid bitch clinging onto his side.

" Derek..." Elijah begins.

" It's fine," Derek says holding his head up high.

Jake quickly grabs my arm and pulls me out of the room. He quickens his pace and tries to leave the mansion as fast as he can.

" Jake stop!" I scream.

We're now outside and I look into his deep brown eyes.

" What the hell just happened?"

I really hope you guys are liking my book so far. Things may seems confusing right now, but in the next couple of chapters you'll understand.

Also for posting chapters I'm planning on updating every single weekday, but since I missed yesterday I'm doing it today. I'll try to update as much as I can and if I miss a day I'll just post the chapter the next day.
