Regret Seven

As we were talking, I was trying to convince the damn nerd to come to UA with me. Every time I tried asking it was as if he knew when I was going to ask, so with that being said he rejected. If I went back without Deku then what would that make me? Wasn't this a stepping stone in fixing my errors? If so then I'd have to kick it into gear and work something out.

" Alright no more Mr. Nice Guy, you're coming with me to UA."

" I'm not going Kacchan, if you want to go back then go. Just tell them I kicked you out of my apartment."

" I'm not doing that, no way in Hell!"

" Then I don't know what to tell you other than I'm not going."

" And why's that huh?!"

I got him with that question, he stopped himself from speaking a couple of times but eventually he answered me.

" Just having you near me keeps me on edge, and now with your change in character I don't know what you'll do next." He rested his elbows on his knees, brushing his hair back, " I want to believe you but at the same time I know I can't."

" Hah?!"

" After all that you've done you honestly think I'd forgive you just like that?! I'm sorry Kacchan but it won't be that easy, no, you'll have to earn it."

I sighed roughly and looked him directly in the eyes, " Listen, are you telling me that you don't believe a thing I said to you? 'Cause if you are I'm going to be real pissed. I'm not telling you that you have to believe me, not by a long shot, but all I want is for you to listen to me and put up with me for a while. The others won't understand a damn thing so I can only confide with you, don't you get it?!"

My emotions were starting to get to me when I didn't want them to, but this was reminding me of the many fights we had before that painful day. I don't want to lose him again, just seeing him alive right now was still unreal to me. Though I have yet to talk with Icy-Hot, I can only try to have this nerd to understand me if only a little bit. I heard him sigh and watched him stand up, walk to his closet and put on his uniform. I stood awestruck as I saw the many scars on his back and arms, as I wondered how he got each and every one. When he was done he grabbed his yellow book bag and looked me in the eyes.

" Well are we going or what?"

" Uh... Yeah..."

" Then let's go, we don't want Mr. Aizawa to punish us."

Deku left his room and I remained unmoving before my feet finally moved to catch up with him.

As we were on the train to UA, I tried to recapture all the events that happened leading up to this point. However, while I was doing this my mind had other ideas and several waves of fatigue swept over me. This was all too much for me to handle and frankly I needed a little bit of sleep. I shut my eyes and allowed myself to sink into a black abyss of sleep.

MIDORIYA'S POV

As we were riding the train, half way to UA, I started to think about what Kacchan had told me back at my apartment. Though the idea of him coming from the future seemed absurd I thought of it from another angle, like if someone had a quirk that allowed them to send a person back in time. If that were the case then all that remained unanswered was why Kacchan chose to do it. As I was thinking of some possibilities I felt something touching my arm and saw that Kacchan's arm had fallen to his side as he was asleep. I felt a slight annoyance yet it was kind of funny seeing this side of him. However I kept trying to fight off my dreariness but it was proving fruitless, and as so I ended up closing my eyes and allowing my body to succumb to my dreams.

THIRD PERSON POV 

The two teens slept soundly next to each other as the train swayed and rattled to their destination. Though Katsuki wouldn't show it anytime soon, he cared deeply for Midoriya and wished not to see him suffer again. However, the same could not be said for how Midoriya felt. The two would only have to wait and see where things would go if they were to find out what their new futures held in wait.

AN: Sorry about the short chapter, but I really want to write some chapters for this new story I've made. I'm not going to upload anything for it yet as if I do then I won't be able to do much for it while writing all these other fanfics. So I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I'll see you in the next one!!!
