Part 13: Powers??

                Jacks pov

I was sooo worried about Julia....I was currently pacing around until I heard a buzz. It's my phone

I opened it and my eyes widened when I saw multiple messages from Julia. She told me that she was okay and that she was stuck in some abandoned hospital.

I quickly went and told Mike and Brady the news and Mike being the tech wiz he is , went on his laptop and searched for the nearest abandoned hospitals.

"Okay soo it's says there are about three....one here in this neighbourhood, one near the police station and one juss out of the city." Mike said his eyes still glued to his laptop.

"Okay let's split up and find her...we can communicate with our phones so have them on you" I told them not missing a detail and they both nodded and went upstairs, I assuming to get their phones.

They later came downstairs with their phones in their hands and we headed for the car.

"I'll check the one just outside of city" Brady said and I nodded
"I'll take the one that's in this neighbourhood" Mike added
"Okay I guess that leaves me with the one close to the police station" I said

"Be careful" Brady told me when he dropped me at the abandoned hospital. Mike had walked to the other one since it was close.

"I will, promise" I smiled at him and watched him drive off. I took a deep breath before going inside.

                   Julias pov

Well since I didn't see any way of escaping I just went back to the bed, layed down and stared at the ceiling until I heard the door open.

It was Michael. Jerk
"Hey I'm back" Michael said sitting next to my lying body.
I ignored him and continued staring at the ceiling.
"I bought you something" he said and he took a tub of vanilla ice cream from behind his back.

"I don't want it" I said coldly
Although I was lying because I LOVE ice cream and I would never refuse it but I'm fighting my urge.

Michael looked at me for a while before placing it on my belly.
"I said I d-"
"I don't care what u said I know u want it so just take it whether u hate me or not" he said

I scoffed before taking the ice cream and opening it up.
"Whatever" I said trying to hide my smile.
Michael just smiled and looked at me eating my ice cream

I have to admit although Michael hurt me badly and ruined most of my life inside I still cared for him. I mean I did spend a lot of time with him and he was there for me when no one else was even though it was fake it felt really to me.

"Why" I suddenly said.
Michael looked at me confused
"Why did u come back" I said harshly. He sighed.
"Julia u know I care about u and I really wish it didn't turn out this way but it just how things are and if I mess this up he is gonna kill me" his eyes widened as if he never meant to tell me that.

"Who is gonna kill you" I said pausing from my eating.
He stayed silent. "Michael?" I said softly which seemed to melt his heart because he looked at me warmly for the first time since he came back.

But I saw something else in his expression like....like a cry for help.
"-please" Michael snapped me out of my thoughts
"What?" I asked
"Michael what did y-"
"I said you brought this upon yourself u should have never left" he said his voice filled with venom

He got up and left me there confused.
What changed? He was so sweet a couple of seconds ago.

        Michaels pov

I'm sorry Julia but you have to hate me
It's just how things have to be

I wish things were different but they can't be. I'M SORRY

              Jacks pov

"Sh*t!" I kicked the ground in frustration.
I've searched this entire place Julia isn't here.

I was at the first floor of this abandoned building and I can see why it's abandoned. This building had 4 floors but the others were destroyed and this one doesn't look very steady either.

I wanna get out of here this place is creepy.. and I don't know why but I feel like someone is watching me.
I headed for the exit until a familiar voice stopped me.

"Jack" he said. I turned around and rolled my eyes.
"What do u want Jason" I glared at him and he chuckled lightly.
"Just came for what I was sent to do." He said with a smug look.

"I already told you I'm not going back there never! Tell father to stop sending his useless minions to come and convince me and if he still decides to bring them...tell him to bring anyone but you." I said turning around planning to leave.

"You're too emotional Jack...you're emotions will trigger your powers and u may end up hurting the people u love" Jason told me which made me ball my fists.

"If father had just respected my wishes I wouldn't even have these powers so don't u dare tell me about my emotions!!!" I shouted at him.

"Look I'm just saying you need to be careful especially around that girl" Jason said
"Leave Julia out of this" I spoke through gritted teeth.
"It's dangerous to be around her and u know that too....she's more powerful than u think Jack...probably not more than u but still she proves to be a threat to our kind" He said

"Your kind....not mine" I said before turning around and leaving.
"You can't deny who u are forever Jack" I heard Jason say but I ignored him.

Once outside I looked down at my hands and saw the faint red colour fade away.

ARGHHHHH stupid powers.

Sorry haven't updated in a long time
I've just been busy since Its sxull holidays we've been going out a lot..
