Part 33: Werewolves???

Skyler's pov

"What was that......." Mike whispered. I wanted to answer but my voice got caught in my throat. A branch snapped and as far as I know we were "told" by that sign that we weren't alone.

Another branch snapped making us more terrified with the fact that we don't know what exactly we are facing. "Prepare yourselves" Jack said sternly as he took on a fighting stance.

The rest of us mimicked his stance waiting for something to happen. Just then something launched out and Jack was the first one to throw a punch at the thing or should I say person.

"Vampire friend???" I asked warily looking at the vampire that helped us out in the maze. "Uhmm yeah...yeah it's me....can u get your friend of me" He said. I couldn't help but notice that he sounded different his voice was .....distant like someone was forcing him to speak or something.

And friend ??? He called Jack my friend. I mean I'm not sure if he knows we're dating or not but I thought maybe he was told by Daniel since he used an illusion of Jack being hurt to his advantage.

"Uhmm yeah sure....Jack you can get off him..I know him" Jack slowly got off but he didn't let his guard down.
"Who is this" Brady asked from the back. I almost forgot he was here. "This is the guy that helped us back at the maze he kept K.D and his crew occupied while we ran" Mike said.

"K.D???" Jack and Brady asked in union. "Yeah its stands for King Daniel" Mike answered sheepishly. I shook my head and held out my hand for Vampire friend . Damn I really need to learn his name.

Wait.....

His hand it's. .......warm. But I don't get it....his practically dead isn't he.
I ignored it and forced a smile on. "I didn't get your name... I mean I can't keep calling u Vampire friend" I laughed nervously.

Something didn't seem right. "Oh it's.....uhm Gary" He said. He seemed unsure. I nodded slowly and stole a glance at the others. They looked just as skeptical especially Mike. I looked behind 'Gary' making sure that he was alone.

"Uhmm we should get going girl" Gary spoke up. GIRL??? Now I knew something was wrong. He never called me girl. He always adressed me as Princess. I quickly backed away from him puliing Jack that was in front and putting him next to me.

I was at least a good 5 feet away from him. I raised my fists and immediately covered them in ice. "Who are you" I spat. He looked confused. "What are you ta-" I cut him off. "Cut the crap...you're not a very good liar" I hissed.

My white hair grew longer and my eyes changed to a striking blue as I glared at him. Turns out he couldn't keep the act on for long since he started laughing. "You're a smart girl Princess , Khione did well" He said.

Before I could ask what he meant his skin started falling off. It was a disgusting sight to see. My vampire friends face turned into a green tree looking thing that had no eyes just open sockets.

"You will never succeed" it said. Brady pulled me back and lunged at it throwing a massive punch to its face. That's my boy!!

Brady's pov

I stepped back from the beast and stood in line with the others. "Four against one...that's doesn't seem fair" the tree thing said.

Jack groaned out loud. "Geez can u just stop talking we wanna get this over and done with" He said or more like whined. I bit back a chuckle.

"Ah...Prince Jack it's an honour to meet you" The thing continued talking. I didn't understand why he kept on talking like this was a casual meeting. Then it hit me.
