Part 30: Worry

Jacks pov.

"Brady when I say run you run okay?" I told him eyeing the giant dog warily. "Would love to exept I can't see genius" Brady said sarcastically.

"I still don't know why we stopped" He said. I felt annoyance build up inside me knowing he was so relaxed while a giant flippen dog was drooling in front of me probably wondering how I tasted.

"Brady there's a......monster?....in front of us right now it's like a giant dog and-" the minute a finished it lunged at us. But I was quick and I dodged the attack pushing Brady with me.

"WE'RE GONNA DIE!!!" Brady exclaimed. I was used to this. Brady usually freaked out like this a lot but right now his talking was gaining the attention of that thing.

"Brady shut up" I said through gritted teeth as the thing lunged again snapping it's sharp teeth getting ready for its meal.

I dodged it and threw a fire ball at it but it dissolved like it was nothing.
Damn this is harder than I thought.

Brady's pov

Monster??? What the hell is Jack talking about and why is he pulling and pushing me. Dammit! I'm gonna die!!

All this darkness and light nonsense seemed great from the start and now some stupid monster dog or whatever Jack said is gonna kill me and then-

Wait!!

Then it hit me.

"Jack!!" I called out. "Yeah" He said from next to me I couldn't help but notice the panic in his voice. "It's not real dude it's an illusion" I told him.

"How can you be so sure....that thing lunged at us?" Jack asked clearly frustrated. "Light sees what's not to believe remember......dude just trust me and walk right through that thing"

Silence......

"Jack please...just trust me...I won't let you down again" I said softly. I heard a sigh and before I knew this we were walking forward.

After about a second I'm sure we successfully walked through that thing. "Woah.....man I'll never doubt you again" I heard Jack say. I smiled.

"Let's carry on" I said still grinning like an idiot.

Skylers pov

"The doc is in...and she'll fix you up.....if you're a toy, then you're in luck...it's okay don't be afraid the doc really knows her stuuuufff......coz ohoh-" Mike groaned

"Will you stop singing baby songs" He said and I giggled. "I'm sorry I'm bored as hell" I smiled sheepishly.

We've been walking for who knows how long and one thing I've noticed about this "maze" us that there weren't places where you were supposed you choose where to go...it was just one path.

"Oh shoot!" Mike stopped. "What's wrong" I asked. "There's someone is front of us" Mike said. I looked in front and saw nothing there.

Luckily I'm smart and I know that only Mike can see 'it' or 'who' is there and I can't since darkness sees what's real. "Well then tell me where he is" I said getting ready to show him my moves.

"He's in front of you but he isn't making a move he's just looking at you..I think he's waiting for to-oh sh*t!!" Mikes voice was now panicked.

"He's a....a.....a....." Mike stuttered his eyes staring ahead. It's funny because in reality he can't really see anything.

"A WHAT!" I was staring to get irritated now. First of all I had no idea how I was suppose to fight something I couldn't see.

And secondly Mikes panicking is making me panicked.".......vampire" The minute those words left his mouth I felt a presence in front of me. I knew he was there.
