Part 19: True love

Jacks pov

"Man....*chew*... this food is so *swallow*...good" I said.
"Ewww Jack that's disgusting" I heard Julia's voice.
I looked up and saw Julia and the Queen coming back from their little 'talk'

"Remind how you're a prince again" Julia joked
"I'm sure there was a mistake" The Queen mumbled sitting down at her seat. I rolled my eyes at her and Julia giggled.

"Okay I know this is awesome and I don't mean do break this beautiful moment but I'm pretty sure Michael and his father are looking for us and it's only a matter of time till they realise that we left Riftus" Beady said seriously.

"How can we stop him" Mike looked at the Queen who was quietly eating her food and lovingly staring at her daughter
Hm....she must have really missed her. "It won't be easy Trifus soldiers have become stronger and there is a chance that our soldiers will fail to keep them at bay" she finally said.

"Would the impact be stronger if the Riftus army were to help too" Julia asked out of curiosity
I could feel my blood boiling.
"Help my ass!!" I hissed
"I'm not letting that egotistical, reckless, ungrateful-"
"Son of bxtch!" The Queen finished my sentence

"Exactly" I said.
"Over my dead body am I asking help from that man" I said through gritted teeth.
"Jack he's your da-" I cut Brady off.
"Don't you dare finish that sentence!!....I don't have a dad understood" I said.

"Jack calm down" Julia said sternly. I sat back down on my seat and just chose to pout at the fact that she could shut me up.
"Oh she doesn't get shouted at...all she gets is a pout" Brady rolled his eyes and my expression softened.

I know Brady gets upset over these kind of stuff. Especially because when he is angry he never takes his anger out on his friends. "Brady I'm so-" he cut me off.
"Save it" he stood up from his chair.

"Sit down" Julia hissed at him.
I was shocked at the tone and judging by Brandy's eyes widening he was too.

Julia's pov

I know I'm being mean but this is frustrating.....every time something good happens something ruins it. I just snapped.

"Now u both listen to me" I started slowly.
"I've been been kidnapped , taken to a world I remember nothing about , I've been lied you most of my life and although I know the reason behind it it's nit enough" I saw my mom aka the Queen hang her head low

"I shot ice out of my fxcken hands, taken to a Kingdom I also know nothing about , flew on a fxcken dragon and also witnessed Jack being on flames and just to make it better NO ONE AND I MEAN NO ONE BOUGHT ME VANILLA ICE CREAM ON THIS TERRIBLE TRIP!"I was frustrated.

"I have a spinning headache and you're just making it a hundred times worse!!" I screamed.
"Get over yourselves!!this isn't about us!!It never was about us!!This is about the millions of people that will be affected by this" I said.

"For once in my life I feel like I have the ability to do something and you just.......you know what I don't have time for this" I walked towards the door I decided to stop because I could feel myself getting colder.
"Don't follow me" I said before getting out of the room.

Brady's pov

"Look what you knuckle heads did" Mike said from his chair.
"Okay okay we screwed up no need to rub it in" I said and rolled my eyes.
"Well someone has to "rub it in" for you to finally get over yourselves" Mike said to Jack and I.

He started walking away as well.
"Where are u going?" Jack asked.
"To find my best friends! Coz I have no idea who these two people are" Mike hissed referring you Jack and I.

Jacks pov

I've been in this room for 30 minutes and I can't help but think about how Julia is feeling. I'm the worst bf ever.

I couldn't help it anymore I needed to see her. I went to the room she was given.
Knock Knock
No answer.
I opened the door and peaked inside only to find no one there.

"Julia??" I said ..I was staring to worry.
Suddenly the door to the bathroom sprung open and revealed Julia who had only a towel wrapped around her perfect body.

"Ahhh!!" She screamed when she noticed me.
"P-pervert!!" She said.
I chuckled and walked closer to her. Every step I took she moved back until she hit the wall.

I smirked.
"You smell nice" I said burying my face into her neck
"J-Jack w-what are you d-doing" Aww she's nervous how cute.
"What a bf should do babe I said tracing kisses along her neck.

She tried pulling me off but I didn't budge soon enough I found her sweet spot and she choked on air.
I chuckled at her reaction and pulled away.
"I'm just teasing baby girl" I said smugly.

"Whatever" she rolled her eyes.
"Let's cuddle" I said cutely
She chuckled then nodded.
We went to the bed and she snuggled herself in my arms.
"I'm sorry" I whispered next to her ear.

"It's okay I shouldn't have freaked out like that" she said.
"I'm just frustrated....I feel so useless" she said sadly.

"Don't say that" I said sternly
"You're not useless stop talking bullshxt" i said.

Julia's pov

I couldnt help but laugh at Jacks seriousness.
"I love you" I whispered
"I love you too Julia" he whispered back.
A silence took over ....but nothing uncomfortable just me and him enjoying each others company.

"I'll do it" Jack said after the silence.
"Don't what??" I asked curiously.
"I'll ask my dad for help" he said.
My eyes widened.
"Really?" I smirked at him.

"Yes...but only for you" he said.
I smiled widely
"Thank you!!" I hugged him
"I know it's hard and trust me it's hard for me to" I said.
He looked at me confused.

"Let's just say he hurt you emotionally and that's not something I'm happy about" I said....I could feel myself getting colder.
Jack smiled cutely.
"You're so awesome!" He cooed.

I chuckled at his cuteness.
I was glad that he was willing to do this for me. I guess this is what they call true love.

Well Jack is my true love and I promise to protect him with my life.

Jacks pov

I promise Julia that I'll protect you with my life my love.
I love you Julia
My one and only love.
