Chan was blown back, literally, by her magic. Her flames covering her from head to toe as she launched herself at the other male, her hand balled into a fist. "Too slow." He taunted.

Chan felt a magic power surge from behind him and he quickly dodged, eyes widening when he realised that the magic would hit Harper instead. His eyes widened further upon seeing a wall spring up behind her and absorb the blue orb that was launched at him. In his many years of being alive, he had never witnessed someone use two spells at once - at least he was presuming one of those was a spell considering her entire body was coated in flames and wasn't harming her.

Whilst distracted, the two males that had accompanied the one Harper was fighting had grasped Chan's arms and pulled him so he couldn't fight and couldn't do any magic symbols with his hands and he panicked. He was used to having the upper hand, for having his back watched by other people-

It went deadly silent, the roar of Harper's flame died and for a second he thought she had been defeated. "Wait what? You can't walk away from a fight!" The leader complained and Chan's eyes looked upwards and saw Harper without fire on her skin anymore, but her eyes - despite being earth green, holding the fire there instead. It made his heart race, panic filling him.

"I think I was clear about my actions earlier." Her voice was hot and venomous. "You do not lay a single hand on him."

"Or what? What are you going to do?" One of them chuckled and she did a few rapid hand actions, and Chan was convinced that he had never witnessed a single person perform such hand movements with such speed and precision before. He didn't hear what she had muttered but fire started seeping down her body like a waterfall, across the floor and up the two men's bodies.

For a split second, Chan thought he was a goner, that her magic would seep from them, into him. His eyes watched as the fire that had decorated the floors left black burn marks from her feet to where they were stood. They screamed in pain and following more hand actions Chan had a hand of fire wrapping around his waist and pulling him to her. He had never witnessed anything like it.

"Perish." She spat, and Chan looked at her and the screams stopped and the two men dropped to the floor, charred completely. "I warned you not to touch him. You all must pay the price."

She took a step towards the man and winced slightly. "It seems like you had a run in with my magic." The man smirked. "Curse magic, it will slowly eat away at your magic power and at your internal organs until you're nothing but a shell."

"Harper-" Chan began and Harper simply raised a hand.

"You're going to be here a while trying to deplete my magic." She hummed softly, lying. She could tell she was low already. "Fight me like a man."

"Happily."

"Harper- I'll handle him-"

"It's fine, gotta keep your pretty face unscathed." She spoke through gritted teeth. "I have enough magic for one more spell..." she whispered softly to herself this time before she stretched out. "Hey, douche. I wonder if your physical ability is impressive as your magic. Care to show me?"
