Harper walked around the city, wincing occasionally if she moved too quickly. She would only move quick when she felt breathing down her ear, and even then she would only turn. Her magic was too low to fight anybody right now. She would've even struggled against one of the children in the compound at the moment, and their powers averaged much much lower than hers.
She froze mid-step feeling the immense magic power behind her, and it wasn't one that she had met before. She turned slowly, and she knew the owner of this power had been following her for some time, she just hadn't sensed the power so strong up until now which meant that they were close.
"You can come out, I can sense you're there." She hummed gently, slightly in annoyance in the fact that someone had been stalking her for the last half an hour whilst she was walking. She stopped in the sidewalk, nothing but the streetlights lighting up the street and she saw someone drop down from a building which was barely twenty meters away from her. As his feet touched the floor, the ground rumbled and she sighed softly, praying somewhat that the person that she still couldn't see all that clearly didn't want to fight her.
"You're so much prettier than our intel makes you out to be." So the figure in front of her was a man. Thunder rumbled overhead and her hair became static and her eyes widened. If this was the person she thought it was, she was in a lot of trouble if he wanted to fight her.
"Park Jimin, right?" She called out, watching as he neared her and for the first time in many years her heart raced in fright. He could end her life in one movement, in one measly spell if he was to hit her in this condition.
"Ahh, so you've done your research." He hummed, and the pendant on her necklace grew slightly warmer, but not enough. The power it lent her was nowhere near enough for her to defend herself. "I heard Bang Chan healed you earlier?"
"Yes, he did."
"I never knew American's had such a soft spot for us... so much so to put them in such a condition." He gestured to her, and lighting sparked slightly from his fingers. "And to fight one of our terrorist groups."
"I have no intention on seeing people that don't need to die, die whilst I'm around." She paused. "But I presume you're here to kill me to protect Jungkook?"
"I wish it were that simple, but we've all agreed that we'd much rather have fun with you instead." He was dangerously close now, one more step and an outreached arm and he would come into contact with him. "I'm here to let you know that I know things about your compound, or rather some of the people in it. I'll happily trade the information that will save you as long as you leave Jungkook alone."
"I'm sorry, if you know things about my compound than you will know that we're the most relentless out there, and we will stop at nothing to get our target."
"I had a feeling you would say that." The static rumbled in the air and her eyes widened, bracing for the last moments of her life. "But keep it in mind that I'm saving you in the long run." The lightning struck and she clenched her eyes closed tight.
Jimin struck 'The Eagle' in the sky, the drone that had been following her since she stepped foot onto the Korean turf. His eyes trained on the smaller woman in front of him, he had never seen an American spy flinch in the eyes of possible death, he had seen them sacrifice themselves to the little power they had left and finish the game with him. But he had never sensed so much fear come from one.
Whilst her eyes were closed, he slipped a metal key into her hand and patted her shoulder before he vanished.
Harper opened her eyes, and sensed his magic long gone, and she sensed the magic that came from 'The Eagle' gone too. Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion, opening her hand and seeing a key with a piece of paper attached by string with an address on it.
"I'll check that out, once I've been to the hotel and rested some more..." She whispered to herself, and she finally headed back.
