Namjoon was not only amazed by how Harper fought after her recent fight that should've put her in at least more tired state for twenty four hours, but he was amazed at how Liz had grown too in her powers. As they walked with Liz hooked on their arms to support her, he couldn't stop glancing at her. Her skin was mucky, her hair dull and her eyes lifeless. But it was definitely still Liz, he knew that much.
Harper helped Liz into the car before clambering in beside Jungkook, her head tumbling atop of his shoulder and she fell asleep instantly. Namjoon swapped seats with Jimin so he could sit beside Liz, he wanted to know everything-
"Namjoon." Liz's arms wrapped around Namjoon's as she sat there beside him, her head falling against the top part of his arm.
"Yes Elizabeth?" He cautiously spoke her name, it was a name that he had no right to utter anymore.
"Call me Liz silly." Her small laugh filled Namjoon's ears and it was music to them. It was a laugh he never thought he would never hear again, it was his voice falling from the lips of the girl he never thought he would see again. He couldn't help but smile at these thoughts. "How did you find Harper?"
"It was more like she found us." Namjoon chuckled softly. "She came after Jungkook, and during a fight against us her pendant cracked and she was released from AMA. We were on our way back from fighting them actually."
Liz nodded and Namjoon looked down at her with a small smile, he noticed she was fighting internally to stay awake and he couldn't force her to stay awake much longer as it would be a small while until they were back at the warehouse. He gently reached over with his left arm and pushed a stray bit of hair behind her ear and his heart did numerous back-flips as a smile came to her lips as she cuddled into his arm even further.
He looked up from Liz for a second to see Seokjin smiling at him in the rearview mirror and he was content. He had his family safe and sound for the time being, and he had Liz back.
I'm dreadfully sorry for the late update on this book, I had major writers block for a long time - this was more of a filler than anything else. An update should be with you lovely readers within a week of this chapter being uploaded.
