Harper woke groggily, she winced as she sat up slightly from the ache in her muscles. "So this is it, I've died huh." She laughed knowing that she hadn't healed herself - and the likelihood of her sworn enemy would have healed her was slim, her own family that had taken her in wouldn't have even healed her from that.

She froze when she heard snoring and her eyes widened and she turned to the source of it - she saw Chan slumped in a chair, head thrown back as he slept. She slid out of the bed gritting her teeth at how weak her muscles felt. She sensed magic before she saw it and the door flew off its hinges and Chan shot up.

"Chan!" A male yelled, eyes wide. "You bitch! What did you do?"

"Me?" Harper spoke softly. "Why did you assume I have done something?"

"Because you're from America." One of them marched forwards and grabbed her by the neck and lifted her up, his magic radiating from him. Reinforcement magic. "Chan, are you okay?"

"I-I'm fine..." He stood and stretched out. "Why are you guys here?"

Harper clawed at the hand around her neck, her body still too weak to fight back without injuring herself.

"We saw the news about an attack at the cafe - we knew you were in the area and when you said you weren't coming home we knew something was up. So we tracked you down- I didn't know that we'd find her here too."

"She saved me." Chan walked over, seeing Harper grow weaker and weaker every passing second. "Let her go." Harper hit the floor like a sack of potatoes, coughing lightly.

"She saved you?"

"It was the terrorist group that attacked, I was trying to see if I could get her to leave Korea without any violence and without any abductions and she saved me, getting critically injured in the meantime. So I healed her-"

"You healed the enemy?"

"Yes I did Woojin." Chan narrowed his eyes. "So what?"

"She's our enemy."

"She's actually rather nice when you get to know her."

"Hey! Where are you going?" Woojin yelled at Harper, watching as she weakly threw the window open.

"Thank you for healing me Chan, we're even now. I still have a mage to go and get, and then I'll be out your hair." She smiled softly, the first genuine smile Chan had received off her and he smiled softly. "The rest of you have been fun to play with, maybe I'll be back one day to get one of you too." She giggled before climbing weakly onto the window ledge and jumping out.
