"Boo." Ivan grabbed Harper's shoulders, attempting to scare the stoic woman. "You're going on your first mission today, are you excited?"
"Why would I be excited?" Her voice was monotone. "Also, you didn't scare me. I could sense your magic from the other room."
"Because you're going abroad, maybe you'll loosen up whilst you're over there, find a boyfriend..." He teased and she turned and delivered a stone cold glare he gulped slightly and raised his hands in defence.
"I'll be going now, my plane leaves soon." She grabbed the handle of her suitcase, walking past Ivan who was too scared to even mutter a goodbye.
Her red hair was pulled back into a high ponytail, her face showing nothing but determination. The red stone sitting perfectly between her breasts as she stalked with confidence to the hire car waiting for her down the path.
"Miss! Miss!" She felt a body barrel into her, their arms wrapping around her legs. "You left without saying goodbye-"
"I didn't want to upset anyone." She continued her business by putting her suitcase into the trunk of the car, the small child attached to her legs.
"You'll come back soon! And you'll come back safe won't you?"
"Yes."
The child let go with a small pout as Ivan stood not that far behind. With that Harper got into the car and drove off to the airport.
A simple mission. She reminded herself. Get in, get intel, get the target, get out.
