"What are you thinking?" Still staring at my ring.

"I'm determined to become better so I can be a normal human and marry you in the future." Luke says getting teary eyed.

"I'd marry you even if you couldn't walk. If you didn't have any of your legs. I love you no matter what, just as long as you are yourself. I'll always be here for you no matter what." Kiss him on the lips catching him by surprise.

"Aw babe." He smiles and cries a bit. We continue to cuddle and eventually we lose track of time.

"Might see you tomorrow." Tell Luke as I kiss him on the forehead.

"Alright." He nods and pouts. Leave and start my trek home which means walking through town where the bad people are. Faces pass in a blur and my feet are carrying me home. People hit on me, but I just ignore them. When strangers try to talk to me, I just keep on walking and act like they don't exist. Finally make it home and walk in, a piece of me hoping that I'd wake up from this nightmare, but I don't because it's real. With the realization and knowing that Luke is in pain, tears stream down my cheeks as I'm brought to my knees. Petunia comes up to me and licks away the tears.

"Why?" Ask aloud not expecting an answer. Get up and go into the bathroom staring at myself in the mirror. Look at my phones to see missed calls and unanswered texts.

"Sorry if I'm not answering your calls or texts, Luke was in an accident and I'm just trying to keep it together for the both of us." Take a mirror selfie and tweet this out. 

"I'm coming over because you shouldn't be alone." Awsten quote tweets and doorbell goes off a few minutes later. Let him in and we hold each other close. We both crack open a beer and start sippin on it. Later after we throw the bottles away, we get into my bed and cuddle as we fall asleep. Sleep in that day since Awsten made me skip putting on a alarm. Pretty sure things got steamy last night with some of the drink in our veins. 

"Lets go visit Luke together." Awsten says and we get into his car. Park in the hospital parking garage and walk into Luke's room. He smiles seeing the both of us and I guess Luke is looking somewhat better now. 

"I walked today. Might be able to go home at the end of the week." It's only Wednesday, so maybe he'll come home Friday. Awsten and I hang out with Luke spoiling him with cuddles and kisses. We leave that night to let him get some more rest and Awsten drives the both of us home.

"I'll stay with you until he comes home. I just don't want you to be alone." Awsten tells me as I nod, clinging to him.

"Yeah, please don't leave me." He sighs and we cuddle on the couch together.
