"What e-else is she d-doing?" Bill asked.

Eddie was still laying on his stomach, his blanket covering him still. Bill sat at the end of his bed. While Sonia was preparing to walk up the stairs for her rest.

"She never did what she did before... she found out about me calling Richie. She thought he was turning my gay, so she took my phone, and I don't know if she got rid of it. So she then left the room, and I didn't think much of it, so I sat on my bed and began to cry at not being able to talk to Richie again. She then walked back in... and-" Eddie stopped, trying not to choke out any tears. But soon he heard the loud footsteps of Sonia. "Bill, hide!" He whispered. Bill nodded and climbed into the closet.

Sonia walked in, walking over to the side of the bed where Eddie was laying.

"Oh, Eddie bear, you made mommy very very disappointed with you. Have you learnt your lesson?"

"Yes, mommy..."

"You are not to call that boy again, you hear me? He is not going to turn you into someone like him."

"Mommy, he isn't into boys."

"I don't care, Edward, the phone is gone now. If you need to call anyone, it'll be me, and you can use the phone downstairs. Do you hear me?"

"Yes, mommy."

"Good, also, Bill came by, you can call him in the morning."

"Okay."

"Good, I love you. Sleep tight." Sonia patted his back, hardly.

Eddie whimpered a bit, screaming into his pillow.

"Goodnight." She spoke, walking out the door and going into her room.

Bill soon walked out, going over to Eddie, who was crying.

"Eddie, it's o-okay." Bill whispered, kneeling down and rubbing Eddie's head as he cried into the pillow.

"No, I-its not." He cried. "She- she whipped me, w-with h-her belt." He cried.

"Could I s-see?" Bill asked, Eddie nodded into his pillow.

Bill pulled the blanket down, showing his bare back that was covered in bruises, cuts, and dried blood. There was now a red hand print where Sonia had hit her son a few minutes ago.

"Oh my g-god..." Bill mumbled, jaw dropped. "Eddie, you h-have to tell s-someone."

"I did... I told you."

"I'll buy y-you a new p-phone, so you c-can call Richie. Y-you'll have to h-hide it."

"Bill, it's fine, I can buy one."

"No, n-no it's fine. A-also, Richie said h-he's gonna c-come down for t-the week, but o-only for you."

"Tell him not to."

"W-why?"

"Because my mom will get mad."

"She won't f-find out."

"Why is he even coming?"

"Because y-your mom is b-being a bitch."

Eddie smiled a bit. "Okay..."
