Eddie woke up, still a bit tired, but dragging himself out of bed anyway. He would sleep the whole day if he could. He got out of bed, walking downstairs. No one was down here, only a note on the counter was around, the note from Richie.

Eddie read it with a small smile, rolling his eyes playfully at the writing before walking to get cereal. Eddie was still scared, scared that at any moment his mom could walk through the door. He wouldn't be surprised if she somehow found the Wheeler house and try to take him home.

He made himself breakfast while he sat at the table in the silence. Eddie was cautious, looking out the window every once in a while. He had no plans for this day, it was nice out but he wouldn't go anywhere around here with out Richie.

"Okay, Bev, tell me what your feeling. Get some strippers and let things get hot and frisky." Richie winked.

Jane giggled.

"No, they aren't that fun of people." Beverly laughed. "Probably just get some party games."

"What are they? Ten? No, I'm hiring the strippers."

"Richie, no." Jane laughed. "They would not like it."

"Trust me hon, they'd enjoy themselves. Especially ol' Stan the Man."

"If that's what you think." Jane shrugged.

"Are we actually buying party games?" Richie asked, following Beverly through stores.

"We aren't getting strippers, Richie."

"I wasn't gonna say that!" He laughed. "I'm just saying that if you buy party games, the party will be lame."

"Stan and Mike would enjoy it, they would just want to spend time with us anyhow. It's not like they care." She lead them into a Party City.

"We don't have the money to be here." Jane said, looking around.

"They should have games somewhere in here." They walked around the store, waking past balloons, candies, Fourth of July stuff that was still out.

Richie laughed, picking up a titled 'Men Adult Sexy Cop', "Imagine seeing the strippers in this."

"Ew, we aren't getting strippers!" Jane yelled, grabbing the bag and tossing it away.

"Buy one, maybe Eddie will dress all nice for you." Beverly smirked.

"Oh, don't put that thought in my head. You'll make me jizz all over myself."

"Ew! Stop!" Jane laughed.

Richie searches the pile for that exact costume in a small size, once found, he grabbed it, following the girls.

"Okay, so, we could get.." she began, searching around areas. "Look!" Beverly picked up three board games-Operation, The Game of Life, and Monopoly-.

"Board games? That's even lamer." Richie rolled his eyes.

"These are the classics, Rich."

"Get this too." Jane yelled, picking up UNO.

"We are not buying those." Richie shook his head.

"I'm the party planner, you're just the home owner." Beverly said, walking away with the games. "Plus, I know what Mike and Stan like."

They went to the counter and paid for the games, walking out and searching for a Dairy Queen.

"I can't believe you bought that." Jane sneered.

"I want that dream to be a reality." Richie smiled.

"Eddie is not going to get in that." Beverly laughed.

The Dairy Queen wasn't that far away, they entered, looking at the cake options. "Ice cream cake is Stans favourite." Beverly mentioned, viewing each one.

"Get this one, it seems delicious." Jane exclaimed, pointing at a chocolate cake behind the glass. "Are we gonna put 'Happy Birthday Stan and Mike!'?"

"Yes! Why the hell wouldn't we?" Richie asked, opening the door and grabbing the cake.

The three walked up to the counter where no one was, the place wasn't busy, so there was no excuse for no one to be there.

Soon, a boy walked around the corner, greeting them with a smile before pressing everything into the cash register.

"Is that all?" He asked.

"Uh, can you make it say 'Happy Birthday Stan and Mike!'?" Jane asked.

"Yeah, if course. One second." He took the cake around the corner, getting ready to write the words.

"This is exciting! We have to stop somewhere so I can buy them gifts." Jane said.

"Same." Richie agreed.

"We shouldn't." Beverly said. "They'll think the parties enough."

"Here you are." The boy came back around the corner, handing the cake to Richie.

"Thanks." He said.

The three walked out of the store, going off to other stores.

It was almost one and the teens were in a movie store, searching for cool movies to watch during the night. They had went to plenty of stores, buying random things that they thought the party would need.

They finally decided on buying Stephen Kings Graveyard Shift and leaving before the cake melted.

When they arrived, Jane went in first, seeing everyone talking in the living room. She walked back outside telling them.

"Okay, we'll go through the backdoor." Richie said, grabbing bags and the cake and going to the back followed by Jane and Beverly.

The group walked in, placing the cake in the freezer, then sneaking their way to the basement door and down the stairs. Once there, they hid the party decorations but put the games with the others. They then walked back upstairs and joined the group in watching whatever was on.

-

Richie excused himself, walking into the kitchen and grabbing the phone book before walking upstairs and locking his bedroom door. He went to his phone, grabbing the book and searching through it. Once he found what he was looking for he dialled it, not caring about the party, not caring about his money, and not caring about his parents.

Hi! Sorry for the short chapter, but thanks for reading! Because of all the love I get for this book I'm in the Wattys thingy! I don't know how it works, like if I need a lot of votes or something. Haha. Also, I have exams next week, so I won't be updating :( AND tomorrow, Finn's new movie, Ghostbusters 3, is being shot near me and needs extras, so you best know, I'm going!
