Since the dance, Eddie hasn't been to school or talked to anyone of his friends. His mind is running on thoughts about his ex boyfriend. No matter what he thinks of, his thought process get cloudy with images of Richie.

Currently he lays on his bed, eyes closed, and his breathing smooth. He isn't asleep, but he wants to be. His mom soon knocks on his door, making him turn his head slowly, his eyes are puffy, his cheeks red, and tear stained.

Sonia entered, with a medium square box, followed by a tiny-er one.

"Hi Eddie bear." She greeted.

"Hi." Eddie mumbled, he and his mom weren't on the best terms right now, Sonia has taken it to her brain that Eddie is growing, he's falling in love, even with someone who has the same gender as he. "What's in the boxes?"

"Well, I know you've been sad lately. Even if you don't talk to me, I can still see. And, I went out and bought you somethings."

Eddie crawled over to the end of his bed, he began to open the big one, seeing the top being all black.

"Here." She handed him box cutters, he then began to tear down each cardboard wall, seeing a boxy TV.

"You got me a TV?!" Eddie yelled, his face beginning to hold a smile. "Thank you!"

"Ah uh, you have another." She pointed to the smaller box.

He opened it, pulling out the contains. Inside was a VCR and a movie titled "The Breakfast Club".

"Oh my gosh. Thank you mom!" He smiled.

"Of course, hunny. I invited over a cable guy to come hook everything up. We don't want any injuries."

As Sonia left, Eddie wiped off his fake smile and glared at the door his fat mother once walked through. He knew she was only acting like this so he'd stop acting like a "brat" or try to stop running away to Bill's. He was never gonna use that VCR and she knew it. But she'd do anything to act like she was a great mother.

His mother also knew, he hated The Breakfast Club.

Eddie glances at his phone, the yellow phone that sat on his desk that hadn't rang for a few days. He stood up from his bed, taking the movie with him and shoving it into his book shelve. He began to search for one of his favourite books. The one about romance, but it was also a thriller. His finger brushed upon a book, then he flinched.

He looked at his finger, seeing blood begin to ooze. He stuck it in his mouth, hissing a bit. Then he grabbed the horrid book that cut him. He threw it on his bed, before rushing over to his desk to grab a disinfectant wipe and a bandaid.

He sat on the bed, looking at the book titled "Eddie's Memories". He opened it, the first photos being from the time him, Bill, and Stanley were playing PayDay at the Uris'. The three looked young, like in their 4 years. The Uris' looked happy too. Everyone knew how much they fought around Stan.

The second page was from when Beverly decided to cut Stanley's hair, in the background you could see young Eddie already holding a vacuum, while Ben and Bill laughed. Eddie knew most these photos-all of them even- were taken by Mike.

He flipped past a few pages, looking at each with a happy smile. Till he reached the page. THE page. The page with Richie.

The page of them at the Quarry, that was their first sleepover all together. Flipping through more pages were photos of them cuddling at Bill's house, or kissing on the cheek in his room. Eddie's eyes began to tear up, he looked at a photo where Richie was at the bottom of Eddie's window with a flower and a goofy smile.

Eddie glances over at the phone again. Please just call me. Call me and tell me that you love me and you didn't mean anything. Tell me you miss me too and you're sorry.

He climbed off the bed, sitting at the window sill and dialed Richie's number. Oh my god, what are you doing? He's gonna hang up as soon as he hears your voice. This is stupid. Put down the phone. Stop calling him. He hates you. Everyone hates you.

"Hey, you've reached Richard Wheeler, sorry I couldn't answer your call." Then a beep.

Eddie slammed the phone into the holder before it could get any sort of message.

Beverly Marsh walked up to the Kaspbrak household, she hated herself for doing this, but she knew she had too. It was what was right for Eddie. She knocked twice on the door, her heart beating super fast in fear of Sonia.

"Marsh?" Sonia asked through a crack in the door.

"Hey, Mrs. Kaspbrak. Um, I wanted to talk to you about something.... it's important."

"I don't want anything to do with you."

"It's about Eddie."

Sonia made eye contact with her, before opening the door all the way. "What?"

"He's been acting weird lately. He hasn't been to school since exam week, he hasn't been outside, he doesn't talk to us. And... well... Ben says he thinks Eddie's been acting unusual. And I know it's because of the whole-"

"Break up. Yes, I know. Get on with it girl."

"Sorry. But, I think he has more on his mind then... Richie."

Sonia looked at her, then began to think about Eddie. "I'll talk with him about it. Tha-"

"Wait!" Sonia glared at her, another reason she can hate this child. "Before you tell him about it. Please don't bring up me telling you." And then she ran off toward the sidewalk.
