She Will Pay For Everything

I inhaled the fresh clean air, and the province atmosphere that lingering around the place immediately tugged my heart.

I am really back home.

My heart warms. Everything felt like happened only yesterday. It was so surreal. Everything seems like a painted memory.

But my heart clenched when I remembered the tragedy that happened to my mother and my break-up with the only man I love.

Love? Loved? I don't know.

Hanggang ngayon ay hindi ako sigurado kung nakalimutan ko na ba ang pagmamahal ko sa kanya. Four years have passed. Siguro ay naibaon na lamang ng panahon.

Nag check-in kami sa isang hotel dito sa city proper ng Isabela. Napagdesisyonan naming bukas nalang kami pupunta sa San Viscara kasi pagod na kami sa sunod-sunod na byahe.

As soon as we arrived at the hotel, Sky fell in a slumber sleep. I held him in my arms. His small arms were clung around my neck and his cute cheeks were pressed on my shoulder. I noticed that he's getting heavier. My son is really growing fast.

Though, I know it's inevitable, I don't want him to grow because he's so cute and adorable as he is right now. However, I am excited to see how he looks like when he grow up.

Ha! Confusing. Maybe it brought by tiredness.

Kevin helped me put Sky in my room, before going to his room. He decided to get his own too.

As what we have planned, we traveled to San Viscara early in the morning the next day.

"Mommy! Isabela is so beautiful. I like the green fields and those tall trees. Felt like I am in an adventure."

A smile crept on my lips as I look at my son. His smile is so wide and amusement is really visible in his eyes. Knowing that he grew in Paris, France, all this province thingy is new to him.

"Oh look! There is another cow, wait, is it a baby cow, mommy?" Turo niya sa nadaraanan naming mga palayan at ilang bakang nangi-nginain doon.

"Yup. Those baby cows are so cute right?" I smiled at my son.

"Yup. Like me. I'm cute and handsome. I'm not a cow though." Sky said innocently as he look at the sight we are passing by. I only laughed at his innocent boastfulness.

After half an hour, the driver is now pulling the car over the entrance of Camp Viscara. Then my heart swells with all the memories rushing back to me. Nothing had changed with the place, may mga bagay lang na niluma ng panahon.

"Cath! Beshy! My gosh! Ibang-iba ka na!" Agad kaming sinalubong ni Andy pagkababa namin ng kotse.

Sinalubong ko rin siya at yumakap sa kanya.

"Anong ibang-iba. Nagmukha lang akong tao, iba na agad?" We both laughed at my comment.

"Cath!" Tawag din ni Isko at gaya ni Andy, yumakap din ito sa akin.

Pagkahiwalay ay sabay silang napatingin sa gilid ko kung saan nakatayo si Sky habang pinapanood lang kaming magkamustahan.

"Sky, greet your tita Andy and tito Isko." I said.

Sky held a genuine smile and spoke. "Hi tita Andy and tito Isko. Nice to finally meet you in person."

Andy cooed and pinched Sky's cheeks lightly. "Gosh! You're so handsome Sky." She said and kiss my son's cheeks.
