Alucard x OC (PAUSED)

Chapter 2 part 1

I jumped off the tree and landed next to Trevor.

"Wake up." I said, kicking his side.

He groaned and bag an to walk straight ahead. I followed him quietly.

"Bloody Gresit...last stop between me and starvation. The next towns 40 bloody miles away." He says.

"Then we should start heading there now."

Before I continued to walk I saw 5 or 6 demons and one had a baby in its mouth. I put a hand to my mouth.

"A baby..." I said quietly.

I then felt rough hands on my shoulder.
"Here we go." He said.

I sighed and walked to the entrance with Trevor.

"No ones getting in, and no ones getting out. Pretty sure they wouldn't do that just to deny me breakfast." He said.

I turned and saw a sewer.

"There." I said pointing at it.

We walked towards the sewer and I heard the water gurgle. Trevor picked up his cloak and I picked up mine. We hoped and before I got in Trevor pulled me back. A ton of crap flew out.

"God forbid you should warn anyone before emptying your fucking shit pots." Trevor said.

"Ugh that smell could kill, let's hurry in."

We got in and made sure nothing touched the odd water.

"Never thought I'd be so hungry i'd climb a shit pipe in pursuit of breakfast. Oh never mind." Trevor complains.

We got out and saw guards. I grabbed my dagger from my thigh and stealthy made my way to the guard. Turns out he was sleeping. Trevor chuckled and we made our way into town. A gust of wind came right towards us and I saw Trevor shudder.

As we were walking we saw two men swing a dead body to a pit. Trevor spits and I looked at him confused. I then decided I should do the same but was so messy. Trevor then began to laugh.

"Listen I grew up to be lady like, not like you."

"Whatever."

We starred at each other for a second before we laughed.

Trevor hopes on a barrel and scouted the area. All I did was jump and landed next to him. We jumped off and he went to a shop.

"What will one coin buy me?"

"Bit of dried goat. Haven't seen you before or you."

"We're passing through."

"I'll take that." Trevor said grabbing the bit of dried goat.

"You want to pass though quicker."

"Yeah guess you've got some troubles here. Is there a defense effort?" I asked.

"Don't need it. We got a tribe of Speakers in the city. Once we've done what needs to be done, the demons will leave us alone." The lady said.

'Done what needs to be done. Do they intend on killing the speakers even if they weren't the reason this all started?'

I separated myself from Trevor and began asking questions to the locals. I saw Trevor at another shop and I went over there and heard a man begin to speak.

"There's an old story, the Sleeping Soldier. They say he was a great hero hundreds of years ago, but now he sleep under the catacombs."

"Hmm, what for?" Trevor asked, intrigued.
