Chapter 13

Warning: Light Swearing, Verbal Abuse, Panic Attack

You woke up to the sound of yelling, screaming and things crashing. You jerked awake and ran outside your room.

(Y/B/N) was thrashing around in security's arms. You watched in horror as one of them pulled out a taser.

"WAIT!" You yelled. (Y/B/N) stopped thrashing and looked up at you. "(Y/N)?" You nodded, tears forming in your eyes. You ran up to him, embracing him in a hug. Security let him go and he embraced you back, even picking you up and spinning you. You both let go and he put his hands on your shoulders, checking for any injuries. You chuckled and grabbed his arms. "I'm fine."

"You're literally wearing a hospital gown, what am I supposed to think?"

You laughed and hugged him again. "I'm fine. I promise."

He sighed in relief. He opened his mouth to say something but was cut off by a squeal. "(Y/B/N)!"

You both turned and there was (Y/S/N) running toward the both of you. (Y/B/N) squatted down, letting (Y/S/N) to run into his arm. "I missed you squirt."

"I missed you too."

You smiled softly at both of them. (Y/B/N) grabbed your arm and pulled you in for a group hug. When you all pulled apart, (Y/B/N) set (Y/S/N) down. "I need to talk to (Y/N) for a sec, I promise when we're done, I'll come and find you, okay?"

(Y/S/N) nodded and ran off again. You pulled (Y/B/N) into your room and locked the door. "(Y/N)? What's going on? Where are mom and dad?"

You took a deep breathe and looked (Y/B/N) straight in the eye. "They're gone."

"Who? Who's gone?"

You stayed silent and looked away.

"(Y/N)?"

"Mom and dad. They're gone."

"W-What happened?"

You took a deep breathe and explained everything. The kidnapping, you losing control, meeting the Avengers, the ice cream parlor, everything. When you were done, you noticed tear drops falling down (Y/B/N)'s face. You took a step towards him. "(Y/B/N)?"

"It's your fault."

"What?"

"It's your fault they're gone."

"I tried to protect them! I really did! Mom stepped in and-"

"BULLSHIT!" He yelled, throwing the nearest closest thing, a lamp, at your head. You ducked but the shattered glass ricocheted of the wall and cut your face.

"If you hadn't been born with those weird powers, we never would've gotten into this mess!"

"They weren't after my powers! They were after the flash drive!"

"BULLSHIT AGAIN! All you are is a freak who can't do anything right!" He made his way past you and went for the door.

"(Y/B/N)-" You started, blocking the door. He just shoved you out of the way, causing you to fall and hit your head. He unlocked the door and looked back at you with disgust. 

"You're a monster (Y/N). That's all you'll ever be."

With that, he walked out your room, slamming the door. You heard him call for (Y/S/N) and leave with her.

Tears streamed down you face. You just stared at the door, where (Y/B/N) had just been. You were so much in shock you didn't notice (Y/C/N) until they put their hand on yours. You whipped your head around and looked at them. You were no longer sad, just frustrated. You stood up and snapped your fingers, changing your hospital gown into a t-shirt and shorts. (Y/C/N) grabbed your arm. "(Y/N)-"
