When the colors disappeared, you were surrounded by a beautiful scenery. The building looked like they were made out of pure gold and the view was incredible.

When you were done staring, you turned to find no one behind you. Sighing, you began to wander. You passed by portraits and statues of people who looked surprisingly normal. Well, besides the enormous muscle and the regal clothing. You eventually wandered into a giant room. There was a throne at the front and you felt yourself drawn to it. You began to walk towards it but a voice startled you. "Beautiful, in't it?"

You turned quickly, getting into a fighting stance. You relaxed when you saw Loki standing behind you. "Hey Loki."

"Hello (Y/N), where are your friends?"

You shrugged. "One minute I was looking at the view and the next minute, the team was gone."

Loki chuckled. "They'll turn up eventually. But for now," He turned and started walking away.  "Follow me."

You shrugged, at least he knew where he was going. You trotted behind Loki, continuing to marvel at the rest of the castle, blown away by the structure and colors. You'd point things out and Loki would explain them to you, describing what they are and what they mean.

You were so lost in the castle, you didn't notice Loki stop until you walked straight into his back. You were about to apologize but Loki held up his hand, cutting you off. He held out his hand, and waited for you. You looked up at him in confusion. "Do you want a high-five or something?"

He sighed and put his hand on your shoulder. Suddenly, you were at the edge of the rainbow bridge. You shook your head. 'Is that what it feels like to be teleported?'  It felt like someone had just knocked you out then let you take your first breath in forever. But you didn't care. You were too awestruck by the bridge. You took a step cautiously, fearing the beautiful bridge would break at the slightest touch. When you stepped on it completely, you were surprised to see it not shatter into a million pieces. You turned back to Loki who was watching you with amusement written all over his face. He led you to the center and turned you around. You could see most of Asgard, but the thing that caught your eye was how the sun set right behind the castle.

"I have gone through many struggles, but I no matter how many times I mess up, this sight reminds me that the simplest things have the most beauty." Loki explained. You turned to him, not bothering to hide the tears that were now streaming down your cheeks. Loki's soft smile disappeared when he saw the tears. "What is wrong (Y/N)? Did I-"

You cut him off with a tight hug. You felt him tense for a second but he soon relaxed and wrapped his arms around you. "Thank you for showing me this." You whispered into his chest. You felt his grip tighten a bit before replying. "You're welcome (Y/N)."

You both laid down on the bridge, talking about your lives and the struggles you'd both gone through. Loki was surprised when you told him you had powers. You were too scared of breaking the bridge to demonstrate. You promised him you'd show him when they go back to the tower.

You both continued to talk and ended up discussing constellations, seeing that it was now dark and the sky was clear. Loki pointed out every star and every planet he could see. You didn't understand why everyone didn't like him. He was nice to you and he seemed harmless. "Hey Loki?"

"Yes (Y/N)?"

"Why does everyone tell me to stay away from you?"

Loki sighed and sat up. You sat up as well, slightly concerned and waiting for an answer.

"I was a fool and did some, terrible, terrible things."

"Like?"

"Were you alive during the attack on New York?"
