I woke up with a ray of sun resting on my face. I groaned, and sat up in my bed. There was a lot of light coming through the small window. Just outside the window, I could see some pure white flowers sitting in a flowerbed.

I got out of bed, and started getting ready for the day. I changed out of my white nightgown, and into my purple outfit. Then, I brushed my hair, and slipped on my shoes. I grabbed some coins, and headed out of my house.

As soon as I stepped outside, the ocean breeze hit my body. I loved the smell of the ocean in the morning. I looked up at the sky, and saw that there wasn't a single cloud, which meant it was going to be a beautiful day. I smiled, and started skipping my way to the town center. I waved to everyone on the way. I know everyone on the island, so it's normal for me to wave.

Once I was in the town center, I stood in front of a big building. I could see a crowd of people through the windows, all of them enjoying their breakfast. I gently pushed open the door to the restaurant, and walked inside. I walked up  to the front counter, and smiled when Flynn appeared on the other side.

     "Good morning, Flynn.", I said.

He nodded at me, and replied, "Good morning, Violet. I assume you want your usual bacon, and eggs?"

I nodded, and watched him as he started making the bacon. The delicious scent traveled to my nose, and I sighed. Flynn always made the best food. That's why his restaurant is so popular. Well, that and, he's a really nice guy.

After a few minutes of waiting, he set a plate in front of me. The food looked so good. The eggs were a golden brown, and the bacon was the perfect amount of crispy. It smelled like heaven. I quickly picked up my fork, and gobbled up my food.

He laughed at me, and said, "Don't eat too fast, or you'll get a stomach ache."

I waved him off, and continued to devour my food. As soon as I was done eating, I handed him the plate, and waved goodbye. He waved back, and I walked out the door.

As soon as I walked outside, I saw Veronica walking towards the docs. I smiled, and ran to catch up with her. When I got close enough to her, I hugged her. She scoffed, and pushed me off.

"Hey Veronica! It's nice to see you. Do you wanna hang out in my shop?"

"Why would I wan't to be in that stupid shop? I got plans today."

"Awwwwww. Okay then. I understand. Have a good day!"

I waved at her, then skipped back to my shop. The shop was right by the docs, so people would see it when they arrive. I walked in my shop, and put the open sign on the window.

I walked around the front counter, and took a seat on my stool. The book I was reading sat on the counter in front of me. I sighed, and opened it up. Just like everyday, i'll get a lot of reading done.

I've been reading for about the past six hours, but I decided it was time for a break. I stood up, grabbed a cup, and filled it with water. I walked to each individual plant to water them. After I watered the last plant, a man came charging into my shop, screaming.

"You have to hide me! Hide Yourself! The Red Captain's here!"
