I woke up to the sound of a door being slammed open. When my eyes opened, I saw Jewel standing in the doorway. Blaze was sitting at his desk, and glared at her.

He sighed, "Jewel, you need to knock."

She smiled, "I know, but I can wake you guys up this way. Anyway, I came to get you up. We're at the island."

He nodded, and Jewel left. I slowly crawled out of bed, and stood up. Blaze turned his attention towards me.

He asked, "Are you sure you want to meet my parents?"

I nodded, and he sighed. Then, he got up, and grabbed my hand. We walked out of his quarters, and off the ship. Jewel was waiting for us on the shore.

Jewel walked with us to their parents house. We walked for about half a mile before we stopped in front of a red house.

I was a little nervous to meet their parents. What if they don't like me? What if they think I'm not good enough?

Even though I was worried, we walked up to the door. Jewel knocked four times. Everything was silent for a minute before a woman opened the door.

The woman had long pink hair, tan skin, and red eyes. She wore a light purple top with a purple jacket. Her shirt had a white collar with a red gem on the front. She had a white skirt, and purple thigh-high boots.

She looked at us, but her gaze stopped on me

She looked at us, but her gaze stopped on me. She stared at me for a minute before looking down at my hand. Her face lit up with a huge smile.

She squealed, "Zander! Come quick! Blaze brought a girl!"

Before anyone could react, she pulled me away from Blaze, and dragged me inside. She pushed me to a living room.

A man stood in the middle of the room. He had short red hair, tan-ish skin, and grey eyes. He wore a long red coat, black gloves, red shirt, and black pants.

He looked at me, then directed his gaze towards the woman

He looked at me, then directed his gaze towards the woman. They must be Blaze and Jewels parents. The guy must be Zander, but I don't know the woman's name.

Zander spoke quietly, "Honey, are you sure Blaze brought her? She could be one of Jewel's friends."

She shook her head, and said, "No. I saw her holding hands with him. Also, she's wearing the outfit I left on the ship. I left it there for when he finds a woman he loves. She could be our future daughter!"

He replied, "That would be something to ask her."

She jumped in front of me, and asked, "Are you with Blaze?"

I smiled, "Yes. I'm with Blaze. I love him, and he loves me. However, we aren't married yet."

She jumped for joy, "Yes! See honey! Blaze did find someone! I knew he would! Wait, he hasn't proposed? He needs to hurry up, and stop being a huge wimp. He needs a beautiful girl like you in his life."

I giggled, "Thank you. It's nice too meet you. I'm Violet."

She started to shake my hand as she spoke, "I'm Octavia, and that's my husband, Zander. You can call us Mom and Dad."

I laughed, and Blaze ran in the room. He grabbed me, and pulled me into his chest. I squeaked as he held me against him.

Octavia squealed, "You two are so cute! I can't wait for my grandchildren."

Zander quietly spoke, "Honey, calm down. They aren't even married yet."

Her mood switched almost instantly. She grabbed Blaze by the ear, and he let go of me. She pulled him close to her.

She spoke in a stern voice, "Blaze Parker Woods. You have a beautiful, kind, and sweet girl here. Why have you not proposed yet? I want grandchildren, and you're here waiting around."

He pushed away from her, and said, "Give me time. You're so impatient."

Jewel jumped into the room, while saying, "Hey my room is exactly the same. So is yours Blaze."

Octavia pushed Blaze towards me, and said, "Of course, you two will be sleeping in the same room! Maybe tonight, you can make me grandchildren."

Blaze sighed, "I'm not going to make you grandchildren tonight. She might not even want to."

Octavia sighed, and Zander spoke, "It's good too see you two again, and it's lovely too meet you Violet.  Octavia, you should be patient."

She sighed, and Jewel grabbed my hand. She started dragging me through the house.

Jewel dragged me into a room with red walls, red bedsheets, and red accessories. There were small figurines sitting on a desk. The room was covered in dust.

She spread her arms out, and said, "Here's where you'll be sleeping. This was Blaze's old room when we were kids."

Blaze walked into the room, and looked around. He walked toward me, and pulled me into a hug. Jewel laughed, and left the room.

Blaze sighed, "Why do they keep dragging you away from me? I just wanna stay with you."

I giggled, "I think they like me, and it's alright. We still have time to cuddle, if you want."

"They definitely like you. I'm always ready too cuddle, but they'll probably ruin it."

"It'll be fine. So, this is the room you grew up in?"

"Yup. I still have all my clothes from when I was a child."

"It's nice, but should we really be staying at the island for more than a day? Isn't it dangerous?"

"Chester would be an idiot to attack now. Not only am I here, but the previous Red Captain is also here. There'd be no way he can win."

"Was your dad the previous Red Captain?"

     "No. My mom was."

"She's a lot like Jewel, but more fierce. You're a lot like your dad."

"Yeah, but I have more of mom's fierceness."

I giggled, and kissed his cheek. He grabbed my face, and kissed me on the lips. We pulled apart, and heard a squeal from the doorway.

We turned our heads, and saw Octavia in the doorway. She gave us a nod, and quickly shut the door.

     I like his family.
