Dinner?

3rd POV

After some rest, Lucy starts to make her way to where the rest of her teammates were. She woke up just a few minutes ago in the infirmary. Porlyusica informed her that she was dropped off by Natsu and that she was asleep for about 45 minutes.

"Lucy," a voice behind her calls out. She turns around to meet eyes with Sting.

"Sting, what are you doing here," she asks.

"I was just passing by, and I just ran into you is all."

Lucy chuckles and says, "Whatever you say, Sting!!"

"What's that supposed me mean? I really was just passing by!"

Lucy smiles and says nothing. Sting again is captivated by her glistening eyes and her genuine smile. Setting his ego aside, he says, "How are you feeling?"

"I am great! The fight took a lot out of me."

"You really are something else! That was a really good fight. You seem even stronger than the last time I saw you in Balsam Village."

"I wasn't strong then, more like a weakling, but-"

"NO! You were always strong. I don't care what your guild said about you! I don't care what Natsu said about you," Sting interrupted.

"So you know what happened?"

"The next battle will be between Warcry of Quatro Cerberus and Orga Nanagear of Sabertooth," both Lucy and Sting hear from the outside.

"Looks like it's our turn! Uh, Lucy?" Grow a pair Sting, and ask her already!

Lucy notices Sting being a bit flustered and decides to speak for him, "Yes, we can meet later after today's game. Dinner at Tomekko?"

"Yes! I mean, yea, I am down for that," Sting says as he starts heading to his team.

Lucy chuckles and continues to her team. As she is turning the corner, she sees Natsu leaning against the wall.

"You're going to go see him after the game today," Natsu asks, already knowing the answer.

"What's it to you," Lucy barks.

"I-, Nothing. I don't like him being around you, Luce," Natsu replies.

"Luce? Like I said before, you lost the right to call me that the moment you broke everything we had. I am grateful that you helped me to the infirmary, but that doesn't mean I'll forgive you so easily," Lucy retorts.

"Okay, well if you're taking that guy for dinner, can I get one day with you," Natsu pleads.

"No," Lucy says as she starts heading to join the rest of her team.

Natsu stands there completely disheartened. When Lucy is out of sight, Natsu punches the wall next to him and whispers, "What will it take for you to forgive me?"
