Lucy's POV

We both sat there, hand in hand; looking in awe at the sight before us. Noticing many people disperse from the field. I look at Natsu, who also turned his head towards me.

"Should we get going," I ask?

"Yea, that'd be nice," he replied with a smirk on his face. We both got up and started to walk back to my apartment.

"Natsu, are you hungry," I asked as I opened the door.

"YES!!! But I am craving cake! Let me help you make some," Natsu exclaimed with excitement filling his eyes.

"Oh NO! There is no way I am letting you cook!"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, the last time you helped me, you burned the entire cake."

"Well, that was a long time ago."

"Yea, he's right, Lucy," Happy said from the couch.

"Yea, you tell her, Happy."

Wait, Happy?! When did he get here?!

"Wait! What are you doing here, Happy," I question?

"That doesn't matter. Why don't we settle this feud with a bake-off," Happy suggests?

"Oh, that would be a great idea," Erza said coming out of the bathroom with Jellal. What is going on here?!

"Did someone say a bake-off," I heard someone say. I look around to find the voice belonging to Gray who was coming through the open window.

"Yo, stripper, don't you think it's rude coming into a girl's room through the window," Natsu spat!

Natsu, you ugh...I am not even going to say anything.

"Gray, I need help," I recognized Juvia's voice from the window. Gray rushed back to the window to help Juvia.

Now there is one more person in my house. Great!!

Gray and Natsu start going back and forth, while Erza started talking to Happy about the Bake-off. Jellal was behind Erza, listening. While Juvia was admiring Gray.

This is not how I wanted this evening to wrap up.

"OKAY, WAIT UP," I scream at the top of my lungs trying to get everyone's attention. Silence fills the room. Everyone looks at me. "Why is everyone here?"

"To see a bake-off between you and Natsu, of course," Erza replies.

"But, I didn't even know ab...forget it," I sigh. "Let's do this bake-off!"

"Okay, so both of you will make any cake you want. You have the freedom to make whatever flavor you want; however, the judges will be Erza, Jellal, and me, so chose carefully. You will have about one hour to make your cake!" Happy announces.

Natsu and I started to work around the kitchen. Knowing Happy, he probably wants something with fish, but I am not going that route. I'll stick with the classic double layered vanilla cake topped with strawberries. All I need to do is get Erza and Jellal's vote, and I got this in the bag.

I continued to work and when the time was up, I finished placing the last strawberry on the cake.

"TIME'S UP," Happy yelled, "Present your cake to the judges."

"First up is Lucy," Erza said. I walked up to Erza and revealed my masterpiece.

After taking a bite, Erza gasped. "This is soooo good."

"Yea and the icing is delicious," Jellal adds.

"Eh, I was hoping more of a twist," Happy said with a bored expression.

That cat! I want to kick him to the moon!

"Well, I got exactly what you need Happy! Here is my Flaming Hot Cake," Natsu said placing his, um, cake in front of the judges.

"Oh...well this uh, looks like it has a...twist," Jellal questioned.

RIP judges.

They all took a bite and their faces went from pale to red. They started sweating and started gasping for air.

"WHAT IS THIS?! Why is so spicy," Jellal spoke between his struggle to breathe.

"Exactly what I said, 'Flaming Hot Cake.' It's the spiciest cake you'll ever have," Natsu said like it was common sense.

"Natsu, I don't even consider this to be a cake, sorry to burst your bubble, buddy," Happy comments.

Gray started to burst out laughing and Natsu head-butted Gray.

"Don't even think about starting this here," I exclaim, letting my magic ooze out of me to create a dark aura around me.

After I helped the judges, Natsu and I stood in front of them to hear their results.

"Natsu, I am happy to announce that Lucy will be doing the cooking and baking from now on," Happy said.

I WON!!!

"Luce, I let you win this one," Natsu smirks.

I cut up my cake and start to hand everyone a piece. We all spend the time together talking about our day. After everyone started to leave, Natsu and I start to clean up.

"Today was unexpected, but it was still fun," I said while washing the dishes.

"Yea, it was. Tho, I still wanted to win that competition," Natsu pouts as he cleans the kitchen table.

"Come on, Natsu. Just admit that I am better than you," I tease.

"Yea, you are better than me," Natsu said with regret and sadness filling his voice, "You are way better than me. You are way too good for me, but I never want to let you go. You deserve someone better."

I finish washing the last dish and walk towards Natsu. "Natsu, look at me," I said grabbing his face. His eyes are full of sorrow. It was like I was looking at a fragile boy. "It's all in the past. I moved on and so should you. And I won't leave you. I am yours forever, and your mine forever. I love you and that's all that matters. Okay?"

Natsu nods and I let go of his face. I turn around to finish cleaning the table. I feel Natsu just staring at me while I clean.

"Instead of staring, maybe you should..." I jump a bit as Natsu's hands wrap around my waist.

He rests his chin on my shoulder, "I love you too, Lucy." He turns me around and I look into his eyes. He closes the gap between us and kisses me. I enjoy the passion and emotion he placed in his kiss.

He pulls apart and smirks. "I'll never let you go."

"Even if I have to go to the bathroom," I question jokingly.

"It's not like I haven't seen anything before," his smirk grows.

I pull apart, blushing at his words. I slap his chest playfully, "Geez, I wasn't expecting that at all."

He laughs and finishes cleaning the kitchen. After that is done, I yawn and Natsu notices. "Should we go to bed, Luce?"

"Yea, I am a bit tired."

Natsu and I head to my bed. Right when I fall in bed, Natsu falls right next to me. In a matter of seconds, Natsu wraps his arms around me cuddling me. I love you...
