3rd POV

"Welcome to the second day of the Grand Magic Games!! I am your host, Chapati Lola! We still have our host from yesterday, Yajima, and our third host is Jason from Sorcerer Magazine," Chapati Lola announced. "Let's go over today's game! The mystery game is called Chariot. Please pick someone to represent your team."

Bacchus, Kurohebi, Risley, Yuka, Ichiya, Natsu, Gajeel and Sting are chosen by their respective teams to participate.

Natsu is about to leave his team when he suddenly stops and walks over to Lucy. Everyone else on the team pretends not to see this.

He whispers in Lucy's ear, "Lucy? About last night... my proposal was rejected, but if I beat Sting in this round, will you be alone with me for a day?"

Lucy blushes upon hearing this and sighs. "Fine, but only if you beat Sting."

Natsu heads to his location with a determined look.

Once all participants have been selected, the rules of the game are announced. The participants are to race on top of chariots and reach the goal without falling. Magic can be used at any time to help the individual reach their goal faster or hinder the other competitors. Falling off the chariots will result in disqualification. The winner is the Mage who reaches the Grand Magic Games Arena first.

While Kurohebi, Ichiya, Yuka, Risley and Bacchus race towards the goal, Natsu, Gajeel and Sting are left behind. The three Dragon Slayers are experiencing motion sickness and are unable to run properly. In the lead group, Yuka uses his Wave Boost to try and take the first place while, at the same time, attacking those behind him. However, Risley employs her Gravity Change to dodge the attack while Ichiya uses his Fleet-Foot Perfume: Zero Distance Inhalation to overtake the Lamia Scale Mage.

Seeing his opponents taking the event seriously, Bacchus decides to do the same and stomps on the chariot with full strength, destroying it and causing those connected to it to be tossed into the air. Yuka, Ichiya, and Risley lose their balance and try to regain it while Bacchus overtakes them. Bacchus then proceeds to overtake Kurohebi and win the event, earning his team ten points. Kurohebi then finishes as well followed by Risley, Yuka, and Ichiya who earned their teams eight, six, four and three points, respectively.

Meanwhile, Natsu, Gajeel, and Sting are still racing. As the audience begins to laugh at the three, Sting decides to give up while Natsu and Gajeel are determined to move forward. Sting then questions the two as to why they decided to join the tournament. Natsu answers him, telling him that he is doing it for his comrades who have waited for them for the past seven years, enduring all the pain and selflessly defending the guild. Hearing Natsu's words, the Fairy Tail Mages begin to cry just as Natsu and Gajeel finish the race, earning their guilds two and one points respectively. The event then concludes with Sabertooth earning zero points due to Sting's withdrawal.

Natsu gets up after finishing the competition and looks at Lucy with a stern look, disregarding his motion sickness. Lucy catches him staring at her and she mouths 'Good job' followed by a beautiful smile which leaves Natsu looking away to hide his slight blush.

Sting watches this from a distance and he gets pissed. He thinks, "After what he did to you, why do you still smile that way towards him. It's not obvious but you're important to me."

"With all the members returning to their teams, let's start the individual battles, which we have all been looking forward to. The first match of the day is between Team Raven Tail's Kurohebi, and Team Lamia Scale's Toby Horhorta," Chapati Lola said.

The fight keeps going on and Raven Tail's Kurohebi wins that battle.

"The second match is between Team Fairy Tail A's Elfman Strauss and Team Quatro Cerberus' Bacchus Groh," Chapati Lola announces.

Bacchus makes a deal with Elfman, he tells him that if he wins Elfman will have to lend him his sisters for a night. Elfman is extremely furious and tells Bacchus that he will tear him apart. After a furious match, Elfman wins this battle which leaves the audience in shock, but this match also leaves Elfman highly injured.

The games continue with Team Fairy Tail B's Mirajane Strauss and Team Blue Pegasus' Jenny Realight; the winner being Mirajane Strauss. The last battle is fought between Team Mermaid Heel's Kagura Mikazuchi and Team Sabertooth's Yukino Agria. To everyone's surprise, Kagura defeated Yukino.

Chapati Lola announces the rankings, "Today's games were awesome!! The teams fought amazingly. Let's see where the teams stand right now: In 8th and 7th place we have Fairytail Team B with 12 point and Quatro Cerberus, I mean Quatro Puppies with 12 points, 6th place we have Blue Pegasus with 17 points, 5th place we have Mermaid Heel with 19 points, 4th and 3rd place we have Sabertooth and Lamia Scale with 20 points, 2nd place we have Fairytail Team A with 22 points, and 1st place we have Raven Tail with 26 points," Chapati Lola announces.

Lucy was completely zoned out during the announcements, because all she could think about was last night's conversation with Erza, Gray, and most of all Natsu.

"What am I supposed to do? Natsu hated being without me, then why did he say what he did? I can't ignore that he did hurt me, but I feel like my lack of presence hurt him just as much or even more. I did miss him a lot, but what would happen if I went back to him? Do I still like him," Lucy thought to herself?

"Lucy, we should get going, everyone is leaving now," Erza said as Lucy snapped out of her thoughts.

"Uh, yea. Sorry," Lucy replied.

While Lucy was walking with everyone, Natsu crept behind her and whispered, "I hope you haven't forgotten about our deal, Lucy."
