Lucy Pov

The next day...

"Hurry up, Natsu," I yell into the room, "Everyone is ready to leave!"

"Aye, I am almost ready," he replies.

I sigh and make my way down to the lobby.

Today we're supposed to go back.

After a few minutes, Natsu joins the rest of the guild in the lobby. We all make our way to the train station.

"Train! OHHHH NOOOOO!! NO! NO! NO! NO," Natsu begins to throw a fit.

"Calm down, flame brain! It's only a few hours," Gray comments.

Natsu and Gray retort back and forth. This is getting annoying.

"Natsu! Gray! Behave yourselves," Erza yells at both of them, making them whimper away in fear.

Upon our return to Magnolia, we are greeted by the citizens, who gather in the streets for a celebration of our victory. Everyone is astounded to see this. While we all are being paraded over, Natsu opens his bag to show everyone the victory trophy Fairy Tail won. Suddenly, the mayor of the town calls us over to his location. We are shocked as we approach our old guild building completely restored.

The mayor exclaims, "Fairy Tail is our town's Guild! Thank you for everything!"

We all cheer for the announcement and rush into the guild.

We will never be tired of partying!!!

How did I get put into a situation like this?

The party was soon winding down, but I was stuck here to take one drunk dragon slayer home. Apparently, Sabertooth decided to join our party too.

"I guess we have to take them home," Yukino says beside me.

"Yup!"

"I am going to beat you Natsu," Sting slurs trying to get up.

"In you-r dreams," Natsu also slurs trying to stand still.

Both of them engulf their hand in magic and try to run towards each other, but don't even make it close to each other and end up face planting to the ground. Yukino and I laugh at the scene in front of us. Most of the other people have departed, while there are some that have decided to knock out in the hall.

"We should get them before they destroy the place," I suggest and make my way to Natsu.

"Okay, Natsu, let's go. Come on and get up."

"No! I want to stay here with you," he pouts. I blush at his words.

"Who said I am not coming with you? I don't think you can walk, and I know for a fact I can't carry you. Star Glider!" My trusty golden star appears below me. I expand it so it encompasses Natsu's body. "Yukino, do you need help?" I look at her and see that a pink mechanical bear with blue eyes and a tan-colored snout is standing on his hind legs. My eyes widen at the creature before me.

"I think Polaris and I got this! Thanks, Lucy," she says, as Polaris picks up Sting gently and places him on his shoulder.

We both say our goodbyes and promise to visit each other soon. I leave the hall and head to my apartment.

As I am flying through the sky, Natsu decides to speak up, "Lucy..."

"Hm."

"Lucy..."

"Yes, Natsu?"

"Where are we going?"

"To my place. You need to sleep."

"You looked sooo good in that dress," he blends. I giggle at his words.

"I am not even wearing a dress, Natsu."

"I am talking about the other dress, silly Luce," he says, making toothy childish grin.

"You act more like a kid when you're drunk, you know that."

We arrive at my apartment. After much difficulty, I place Natsu on my bed. He seems to have fallen asleep as soon as he made contact with my bed! Dang! How comfortable are you in my bed?! Geez!! I should probably change.

I get out of my current clothes and change into my pajamas.

I look at my bed and realize that Natsu has decided to claim the bed for tonight.

I sigh and whisper, "If I knew you were going to take over my bed, I would've made you sleep on the couch. Well, you better make it up to me for this." I sigh again and decide to sleep on the couch.

I take one more look at Natsu before heading to my couch. He looks so peaceful. His wild salmon hair. His calm breathing. Everything about him makes my heart flutter. I walk up to him and kiss him on his forehead, "Good night, my dragon slayer."

He moves a bit and whispers, "Good night, my princess." I smile at his response.

I turn around to go to the couch. Despite this being my house, it doesn't feel like home. Soon sleep encompasses me.

I slightly wake up to someone lifting me up. I open my eyes, sleep still engulfing them, only to find a silhouette of someone I could never forget.

"Natsu," I say half asleep.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you," he says. Soon he places me down on something comfortable and sleeps right next to me. He hugs and pulls me closer into his chest. Our breathing becomes simultaneous.

Ahhh, now this is home.
