Hitoshi's eye twitched as the two now sat in the lounge, under the blonde's persistence and how Hitoshi's only other choice was the staring contest with his ceiling. His hands gripped at the carton of mango juice whilst Kaminari snacked on his sour octopi gummies.
"So, Shinsou? How have you been?"
The purple-haired male blinked at the other, indigo eyes meeting gold expecting a hint of fear or realization. Hitoshi internally groaned when the energetic glow didn't fade from Kaminari's eyes.
"I don't intend to be your friend if that's what you're thinking." Kaminari paused his chewing to look up, the blonde watched the other.
A dominating silence filled the room as the two sat, a mango sweetness on Hitoshi's tongue when he broke the silence.
"I just came to Yuuei to do what I came here to do, and I'm not going to pretend to be buddy-buddy with you just because I saved you from a vending machine."
Hitoshi spat it all out, hoping the poison he used all middle and high school would be able to push the other away. It was a heat in the moment kind of thing, but this Kaminari-guy has been way too friendly. The purple-haired boy was suspicious of the open arms that Kaminari seemingly had all the time.
It was quiet, Hitoshi sighing as he raised from his seat on the couch and stepping towards the kitchen to dispose of the juice.
"You may have not come to Yuuei to find a friend, which sounds kinda lonely to me, but I can tell that you need something." The blonde's voice graced Hitoshi's ears surprisingly, after being literally called a nuisance.
Hitoshi turned from the trash can to meet gold eyes seemingly shimmering from the dim moonlight, trying to push down a snarl or frown from sculpting his lips.
"You're looking for a best friend!"
God, kill him please.
