"Then find a reason to be genuine." Kaminari advised, "and no you can't just smile at cats Shinsou."
Hitoshi already deflated, eyes visibly tiring out.
"Kaminari, try as you might; but you're not going to be able to social train me. Yamada tried that and now he has a morbidly quiet child who only interacts through alphabet soup."
The blonde grinned, humored by such a memory that Hitoshi felt the corner of his lips twitch.
"Damn, my parents didn't try anything like that. Matter of fact, I'd even say they neglected me."
Oh shit, a little dark.
"Huh? What do you mean, you're such an energetic child." Hitoshi rose a brow.
Kaminari seemed to stutter, picking at his nails with a nervous scritch-scratch.
"Frankly, my family absolutely despised me. Consider me the abandoned dog in those rescue pet type videos."
Kaminari's left eye twitched, flinching at his next words that couldn't make their way out of his throat. Hitoshi watched the other, though he immediately grabbed the blonde's wrist when the nail picking advanced to light piercing into the palm.
"I..I'm sorry." The blonde whispered softly, mind tethered back to reality when Hitoshi gave a squeeze to his wrist.
Hitoshi on the other hand, was probably scared, maybe confused.
He had never seen someone have a flashback, much less one so underwater like what just happened, but it horrified the indigo-haired male when he watched Kaminari's words because softer yet erratic with panic. Stumbles of words before the blonde collected himself(despite the weary eyes and shaky smile), grabbed his phone and the blue backpack before rising from the study seat.
"I-I'll get out of your hair yah? I.. I've gotta do some, some things! Bye Shinsou!"
Hitoshi may not like to smile, but he's not hiding anything away.
The insomniac is curious now, though he can feel a tinge in his fingertips that freeze him away from reaching for the book Kaminari had left.
'Stories of PTSD, an in-depth of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder' by Saichiko Narumi.
Hitoshi had nothing to hide, though Kaminari Denki was a different story.
