Shinsou would have never expected anything 'special' to happen in his freshman year, thinking he'd just brush by with no attention payed to h...

Jirou knew her classmates, but she knew Shinsou pretty well out of the bunch.
Seeing the indigo-haired male in Jeanist-Sensei's class, she immediately recognized him as so did he.
It was awkward at first, but they grew rather close upon a span of summer break.
So when she watched him enter the cafe with a blushing face half-heartedly concealed with a pale orange scarf, she greeted him with a teasing grin.
"So who is he?"
Truth be told, Hitoshi himself didn't realize how his chest begins warming at the thought of Kaminari, but he still flamed at the purple-haired woman's tease.
"I-I'm.. he's.." the indigo male took a seat, Jirou handing him a blended coffee. "He's cute.."
The woman spurred into laughter, Hitoshi growing more scarlet at the embarrassment.
It wasn't like him to like people, don't get him wrong, but Kaminari was an exception.
Over the span of 5 months of the blonde man bothering him, it sent Hitoshi into a spiral of confusion when the sight of the other made him want to smile.
Of course, he stopped himself multiple times.
It began with just Hitoshi pitying the other, but when he saw that Kaminari would rather hang out with him than his own friends, he forgot about pity.
Soon it was the thought that Kaminari was making a fool out of him, which spurred their semi-argument back in November; but the next day, the blonde just came back with a goofy smile and the promise of hot coffee.
Then Hitoshi started feeling bumps, skips of a heart that he had brushed as an impending heart attack rather than growing affections.
Hitoshi shivered at the though whilst Jirou patiently stirred her coffee, before covering her mouth and laughing at the insomniac before her.
"I heard rumors, but I never thought they'd be true." Jirou teased, "besides, it sounds like the typical love story—"
"Uh no, stop that." Hitoshi paused his female friend. "I said he's cute, not that I wanna marry him."
He sipped his coffee slowly, the bitter taste with a hint of sweet. Hitoshi was thankful that Jirou remembered the 1 sugar.
"So you're open to the possibility?" She grinned. Meanwhile, he choked.
"I, and I cannot stress this enough, fucking despise Kaminari Denki." Hitoshi began, eyes fluttering almost tiredly. "But he's cute and he's done a lot that most wouldn't. Hell, he's harassed his way into my everyday life."
