Shoto walked into the hospital, a new bouquet of florals in his hands as he stepped up towards the reception with a slack expression.
"Hello, is Todoroki Rei available?" The bi-colored make spoke, the receptionist familiarly smiling at him.
"You know she always is, you know the room."
The male always held a stoic face, though it's softened over time since he had met a certain greenette.
He could remember stepping into Aizawa's class and instantly wanting to do an about-phase, it seemed so colorful - so friendly.
"I'm not here to make friends." He remembered himself saying as he glared down at a determined Midoriya and challenged Uraraka.
Who knew only months later - Izuku would really pull a;
"What about a boyfriend?"
Then again, life is filled full of surprises.
So here he sat, his mother smiling at her steaming cup of tea as he replaced the deceased white roses and filled the vase with yellow ones.
"Next time you visit - try bringing Izuku again? What a cute one he is." She smiled, her kind eyes glittering with mischief.
The bi-colored boy flushed, holding the back of his hand to his face in a half-hearted way of hiding. "I try, though I get nervous whether or not he can come."
"Poor Shoto, lovingly concerned with his lover's schedule."
The man lived his mother - there's no denial of that. Yet her confidence has grown and with that - her teasing had became more frequent. Those dramas Izuku had introduced to her only made the growing sass stronger.
Shoto sighed, flicking a strand of red hair out of his face.
"I'll surely ask him for next weekend, but if he doesn't don't be mad at me."
Most of the Todoroki children had visited Rei, though they were still waiting for Touya to at least drop by.
Yet again, the last Shoto heard from his eldest brother was when 5 years after he had left - he finally replied to the younger boy's request for milk since thy had been running out at the time. Turns out, Touya had just been released from jail.
Questionable, but Touya has always been the troublemaker in their younger days.
Sometimes life had room for the unexpected.
The minute Shoto had bid goodbye to his mother and slipped out of the room, he was greeted with a blonde male getting back-handed in the hallway and orange-haired girl yelling at him.
"Jesus Denki - you're such a fucking disappointment!"
"Don't yell at me you whore!"
"Fuck you, no shit you have daddy issues!"
"Fuck off - says the one that lives off child support money!"
